I've run into a situation a few times where there are UI complications because of smaller resolutions or people utilizing web Browser Zoom or System Scaling to improve readability on smaller displays. I think improved support for resolutions that you would find on a laptop screen or on older devices would be a huge improvement for usability.
I would like to see some better rules regarding responsiveness as well. We struggle often with column widths in reporting even though I do use widths for columns that matter. It seems they still resize when the browser window is resized.
I've had large wide columns with text that fills 10% of it while other columns are squeezed down to 3 characters wide and unreadable.
Maybe a minwidth and a maxwidth textmode setting would help.
Dusting off an old technique, since the browser will usually honor the widest data in a column including the header, for wider columns, I sometimes switch to advanced mode and give it a Title_Such_As_This_To_Force_The_Column_To_Set_More_Width________
