autosum time logged from the updates area

Currently, when a user uses the log time in the updates area, they have to manually total the hours eg, they've worked 2 hours by 12 pm and have logged 2 hours. By 3 pm, they've worked another 2 hours and will have to overwrite the 2 hours they've logged and put in 4 hours instead - manually calculating the hours. While it's simple calculation, a better experience would allow the users to enter time either in several boxes for the day and WF automatically calculates the sum to go to the timesheet or a better UI is needed.
