Auto Update Due Dates on Tasks as timelines change

Currently, if the due date on a task has changed, it does not automatically update in a user’s My Work if they have previously accepted “Work on it” for the original due date. They have to go in manually to select the new due date, and if this does not happen, the task can appear past due (when it is not) and/or get lost in the mix of other ongoing tasks as the days go by. It would be great it due dates on tasks in My Work could update automatically if/when any timelines change.

Amen! please make this happen.

I would also like to see an additional column with the start date of the task as well as the due date and be able to sort by a range of dates on the "ready to start" tab.

I agree. Extremely annoying and it adds double work to the person reworking the schedule, deleting people, revising dates and then re-adding people. Not very efficient.

Agree! Users are missing their deadlines because they haven't seen the dates change in their dashboard deeming it almost useless. We were provided 2 workarounds which adds a lot of time either way to see something that would obviously make sense to have automatically update on it's own through the system. Please help! Our dates on projects change often and we need the system to handle and capture this efficiently.

This is a must have. If dates change often (as they do for our marketing department) the dashboard becomes useless if dates don't sync with the task dates changing. Users come to us weekly and we have to Log In as them to fix their dates. We appreciate the workarounds that will get us by until this critical feature is implemented!

I can't possibly agree with this more. It doesn't logically make sense to update projects and not update people's dashboards. If the project has the ability to change, which it has to, that's life, then the dashboard needs to update accordingly. The cherry on top would be for an alert to show on the task to alert the team member that a task they've accepted has had a timeframe change.
