Ability to have an option for reports that have groupings to auto collapse when the report is run instead of expanded out. This is especially useful when reports are on dashboards.
Has the beta testing on this started? Everything in this thread is from January and it said this was coming soon. Please let me know when/if beta has started on this.
Hi - is there an update on this topic? Looks like the official update was in January 2018, but it is now Dec 2018 and the topic appears to not have been addressed.
I am working on an implementation and it would be very nice to have reports auto collapse when logging into the dashboard. It is a much cleaner experience for the user and would save several clicks of having to manually collapse each report before going back and only opening the groupings needed.
We've changed the groupings to auto-collapse in the new version of lists, which is currently available for Projects and Tasks lists in production. I'm marking this as delivered. We'll eventually apply this change to Reports, Dashboards and all other areas throughout the system in upcoming releases.
Sara has brought it to my attention that this post is specifically about collapsing the groupings on reports and dashboards, and not on Task lists. I agree with her and will change the status of this idea back to Planned.
