Description – Allowing System Administrators to select the default number of planned hours for issues.
Why is this feature important to you – Currently all issue planned hours default to the length of the duration. This impacts capacity planning for users, specifically those that have a blend of issue and task-based work. This creates false alarm capacity reports when filters include both issues and tasks. For example, if a user is assigned an issue with a duration of 3 business days, the user is automatically allocated 24 planned hours when the issue may only take an hour to complete (over the course of 3 business days).
How would you like the feature to work – System Administrators can set the default planned hours per issue.
Current Behavior – Reports and manual editing are used to monitor, identify, and change as many planned hour defaults as possible.
