Allow removal of users in Workfront via adminconsole

removing users via SSO or adminconsole only deactivates users and does not remove them from workfront - https://steelcase.my.workfront.com/user

even if they were added directly in workfront they cannot be deleted.

not being able to remove makes the user listing a mess and over time could become quite extensive; especially when test accounts were created but no longer needed. there should be away just like other adobe products where we remove a user and can transfer any data associated with them to another user. and user is deleted.

In my practice I try to generally deactivate users instead of deleting them - my thought behind this is:  There is an audit trail on deactivated users, deleted users are just gone.

It is probably more valuable to my company for me to deactivate these users and keep any record of their comments, task completions, etc.  My understanding is that those go away if you delete the user.

Can you shine a light on how deleting users is beneficial to your org?

Hi,

as we are setting up Workfront, the team has added many accounts for testing, which some are not actual users.  there is nothing linked to these individuals there is no need to keep these accounts.

i do agree for those that have comments, tasks etc that they should be deactivated when someone leaves the company.  and since they are tied to SSO they appear to go right to deactivation state once we remove them.  however again I have found many times individuals have never logged in or have anything tied to their name. why do I want to keep these names and the clutter.

There are also times where we would like to move any data to another user or go to an escrow account so that it is not deleted.

I have not used Workfront and just know from admin perspective of a company with 10k+ people and potentially 1k's using Workfront that I would like a better way to maintain the list especially for accounts that are accounts with nothing tied to it.

I know I can filter the deactive out of the list but I guess I like to keep things clean.
