Allow attribute mapping to custom form fields

In Setup, System, Single Sign-On (SSO), there is a section named "Map User Attributes". I want to map SAML 2.0 assertion attributes to Workfront custom form attributes, but cannot. The "Map User Attributes" only lets you map SAML assertion attribute values to specific built-in Workfront fields, as defined here: https://support.workfront.com/hc/en-us/articles/217194907-Configuring-Workfront-with-SAML-2-0. This causes issues for us as we leverage a custom form for Vantage information integration and cannot write values to the fields on this custom form when the user logs in via SSO.

Jeff you can upvote your own idea as well, and I agree 100% custom fields with sso provisioning would be great.

Thanks. I *think* I just upvoted it.

We recently switched to SSO and so we went from our common names (or nicknames) to our legal names, since the system is just pulling from a database. I understand from my support engineer that this resolution would allow us to enter our preferred names into a custom field that we could pull from, thus giving us our nicknames back in Workfront. After a year of seeing names like Libby and then that name changing to Margaret (we didn't even know Libby's real name was Margaret) has caused us some slow down time in updating and tasking people.
