Active Proof Users and/or Warning if Someone else is Active in a proof prior to adding a new proof

Description - Is there a way to show all active users on a proof in Workfront similar to how Microsoft Onedrive let's you see other active users when sharing and working on Xcel, Word or PPT documents? OR can we build in a warning prior to uploading a new proof that someone is actively currently working in a proof prior to uploading a new proof.

Why is this feature important to you - We are having issues where we don't know people are still working on a proof that they are not the primary decision maker or a decision maker at all, a new proof gets uploaded, they get locked out of the previous proof and we didn't make those changes. OR they get locked out in the middle of commenting unexpectedly.

How would you like the feature to work - An icon at the top of the open proof with initials like MS Sharepoint/Onedrive shared documents so you know who is currently working on a proof. Also, a  warning that pops up when you upload a new version that someone is currently active in the proof so you don't upload the new document.

Current Behaviour - No way of knowing who is active and a new comes up and the active users gets kicked out and can't continue commenting because the previous version just locked with the upload of the new proof version.

What you described - some of the challenges are addressed in proofing workflows - do you take advantage of them?

For example, you can implement stages whereby a review process is defined the proof is marked up with changes.  After all of the changes have been made it can be reassigned back to the artist.

There should be a defined period within the lifecycle of the project:  document creation -> document review -> document updating -> document review

You can't be trying to do it all at the same time because it's too confusing
