We are unable to remove the global Hour Type options from the employees Available Hour Types component (Object: User).
We have received feedback from local markets they prefer employees to allocate time against locally approved HOur Types and not include the option to add hours to the generic global Hour Types.
We propose implementing some logic here to enable this:
- if there are no project-specific hour types in the Hour Type database, show global Hour Type as default (i.e. Project Time, Task Time etc).
- if there are project-specific hour types in the Hour Type database, allow the admin to deselect the global Hour Type(s) (i.e. Project Time, Task Time etc).
