Ability to add custom fields in header section (e.g. Project Header)

Ideas to really improve the user experience, increase efficiency and reduce risk:  

• Allow for custom fields to be displayed in header section (e.g. project, task)
• Allow for a few additional header fields (e.g. up to 7-10)
• Allow for fields to display the object level field or higher to be displayed - e.g. if on a task, allow a view of a project field (e.g. Display project "Launch Date" as custom defined on a project)

Workfront started to allow changing the header items (see Customize object headers using a layout template) with just system fields, which is a great start.  They had said that custom fields were on the schedule to add next, but the functionality is still not delivered.  That was well over a year ago.

@nicolevargas9, could you please direct this question about when custom fields can be added to an object header to the appropriate product specialist?

This is a great idea - for us, I'd like to see the date specified in the brief for completion, so we can see quickly if we are on track or not at a glance.

I'm going to bump this as it is the most recent of many along these similar lines. While I would LOVE to add all custom fields an immediate win would simply be adding the rest of the native fields- mainly project sponsor is the one we need most. That would be a GAME CHANGER to add to the projects.

I do know that adding custom form field options in headers (via layout templates) is in the works, trying to get clarity on timing.
