Workfront Business Rules

Hi Team,I had implemented a User Business Rule that restricted project creation beyond 3 weeks. However, the rule has disappeared from the Workfront UI, and the restriction is no longer being enforced.Could anyone please assist in investigating why the User Business Rule is no longer visible and why the associated restriction has been removed?Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Allow Customization of Quick Actions in My Projects WidgetNew

Allow system administrators to customize where the Quick Actions direct the users within the My Projects widget.  System administrators would also need the ability to hide/remove certain quick actions that are not in use at their organization.  This feature would be extremely helpful in streamlining regular project updates for users, so that they could jump right to specific areas of their projects to make changes all from their home workspace. Today the Quick Actions only allow the user to "upload a file", "edit a project custom form", "add a new project update", or "add a new project task".  If a system administrator could modify or add quick actions, then a user could potentially open a status update form, add a risk to a project, or run a project report.

Make Task Summary available on Reports 🔧New

Description - The Task Summary is available when looking at tasks in a project and is really useful for allowing team members to comment and interact with tasks. It would be great if this feature was available in reports. This way you could get this useful feature when managing work across projects. Why is this feature important to you - when reviewing work the task summary is useful because users do not need to click into the task (and away from the task view) to comment or see key details. This makes it easier for our team to do work. How would you like the feature to work - transpose the Task Summary and make it available on reports with tasks. Current Behaviour - Task summary only available when viewed in a project

Did they discontinue the Bootcamp trainings?

Workfront used to offer Bootcamp trainings for Admin and Fusion for a fee. Now I am only seeing “Manage Connections and Workflows in Adobe Workfront Fusion” offered OnDemand but it requires an Enterprise Learning Subscription. Are the bootcamps no longer offered?

Searching user using email address for tagging in comment

It would be better to have a feature so that we can tag a person by searhing their email address.The problem is that we have global team members working from regions like China & Italy.Now for example, an Italian person wants to tag a Chinese person named 雨琪曹 (email address: chi.cao@xxx.com) in comment.At this moment, it is not possible. And it is not easy for an Italian person to tag using @雨琪曹 as they don’t know this language.But as everyone’s email is in English, so it would be better if we can have a feautre in Workfront to search user for tagging by their email address.By the way, this searching by email feature is available in proofing comment.

Hello! I have a scenario that has stopped working as intended on proofs. It shows no errors within the scenario so I know it’s active and running, but it doesn’t do what it used to and I’m a novice at Fusion so I can’t seem to figure out what’s happened. Workfront Home Mentions Widget - Floating Updates to TopNew

Recently I had several users ask me why the Mentions widget was not showing all of the comments in which they were tagged, and I realized that replies to threads do not get brought to the top of the widget. As a result, if someone is using the widget to track conversations (which, ostensibly, is one of the main purposes of the widget), they could very easily lose track of updates. It would be nice if the users could sort their mentioned comments by Original Post Date, Last Updated, Object status, etc. or barring that, if new replies at least caused older threads to be brought to the top.

Create Proof Module Not Consistently Creating Proofs

Hi. I have a Fusion scenario that take a document, creates a proof, and adds reviewers and approvals. Over the last month, we have been experiencing inconsistent behavior with the createProof module found under Misc Action > Document. Proofs are failing to generate automatically. However, when we go back and do it manually it works. Nothing new has changed in our scenario. I was wondering if anyone has noticed similar behaviors and what you were able to do to address? Thanks!

Hide field choices on certain custom formsNew

I believe I have seen this in another thread somewhere and wanted to check on it to see if there have been any updates around this feature but can't seem to find it.. This would be a HUGE win for us if this functionality was possible.   Description - Ability to utilize the same 'multi-choice' field on multiple custom form hiding certain choices.    Why is this feature important to you - We use the same "Asset Type" dropdown field across all of our different custom forms so that we can easily report on this data, however not all Asset Types should be an available option across all forms. For example:    How would you like the feature to work - Example: On Custom Form 1 we would like the 'Asset Types' dropdown to include Print, Email, Social, Web as options to choose from. On Custom Form 2 we would like to hide Web as an Asset Type for them to choose, and only display Print, Email, Social.    Current Behaviour - Currently (to my knowledge), yo

Power BI connector

Has anybody been able to successfully create a connection in Fusion with Power BI?Last night I attempted to create a connection. A dialog box opened up indicating I needed approval from my organization’s admin. I filled out the request, and overnight I received an email from Microsoft confirming that my request for access to Workfront Fusion PowerBI Connector was approved.I tried again just now to create the connection--a pop-up window opens, but the login authorization doesn’t work; I get a message: “An error occurred. Connection failed.”Has anybody else seen this? I wanted to check before filing a ticket.

Home team and group names should be made available for reporting, not just IDsNew

Description - Home team and home group names should be available fields for reporting in addition to home team and group IDs. Text mode should not have to be used to create views with group and team names. Why is this feature important to you - Home team and group association are extremely important for effective reporting. Our leadership team is relying on Workfront to understand what is happening within their remits, and what teams/groups have upcoming, current, and overdue tasks. No one is able to identify what the team/group is by the ID. Reports are supposed to be clear and concise, which is why actual names should be made available instead of IDs How would you like the feature to work - Home team and group names should be available fields for all applicable reports without using text mode. Current Behaviour - Only IDs are available; no one is able to identify what the group/team is by a "random" group of letters and numbers.

Please Bring Back Full Breadcrumb Navigation with Visible Project LinkNew

Use-case / ProblemMany of us rely on the breadcrumb navigation to quickly move between Program → Campaign → Project → Task. Until recently, the Project link was always visible, making it easy to return “home” to the project page in one click. Now, the Project link is hidden under the "More" menu, requiring multiple clicks and making navigation slower — especially for those of us who pivot back to the project page dozens of times a day. Proposed SolutionPlease restore the option to see the full breadcrumb hierarchy at a glance, with the Project link always visible. Or at least allow users to choose between a condensed or expanded breadcrumb view so everyone can work the way they prefer. Benefits / ImpactSaves time by reducing extra clicks. Improves daily workflow for project managers and frequent users. Restores a familiar, efficient navigation style many teams depend on.This small change would have a big positive impact on productivity and user satisfaction.

Daily Tasks vs. Project Tasks

Hi there!We may use Workfront a little differently (maybe not as robustly) than others so I’m looking for some insight.We have individuals that create “projects” with “tasks” for more daily tasks / updating of items / check lists / documentation (think that they visited a location and want to document what was discussed/observed there). Then we have true “Projects” that have meetings corresponding to the goals/expectations of a project, tasks, deliverables, etc.How we currently have WF structured these “daily/weekly” documentation project items fall in the same programs as true Projects. I’m looking for any help or insight on how to redesign the system so we have a structure that better distinguishes between Projects and those documentation/one off tasks items.Thank you!
