Activate proof stage when a new proof version is uploaded

At the start of a project, I set up all of my proof workflows with an FPO proof so that my designers don't need to do it and then set the Activate stage to "Manually". When they have their first proof (v2) ready to send through for review, they upload a new version and then change the activate stage from "Manually" to "On proof creation" and then they generate the proof.

I want to see how I can automate this so that once a new proof version is created (v2), it will change the "Activate Stage" from Manually to On Proof Creation. Does anyone know how to do this? I can't seem to find where the Activate Stage option is located in Fusion.
