I'm trying to figure out how to setup our emails to track the amount of traffic we receive just from emails as a source. Currently, our emails aren't tagged with anything so we can't evaluate it's effectiveness besides from the email reports. How can I tag our emails?

I have tried all of the options to exclude ::Unspecified:: as in the articles and different strategies you referenced in the Search Keywords report. Used all of the options (None, Other, Unknown, Unspecified) with semicolons, without, etc...It is still not excluding from the search. This is needed to go to leadership and I'm having no luck removing this line item. Any additional suggestions? Thanks!

I'm having issues within the Campaigns reports getting a line item named "Unspecified." Unfortunately, even when I try to filter it out it either A) Doesn't remove it from the list or B) Indicates there is no data available at all. I'm not quite sure why it's populating to begin with and would like somehow to remove from my list of data. I'm trying to share this information with leadership teams and don't want this to be of confusion. It is also doesn't allow the rest of the data to populate on ...

Hi - I'm wondering why on the Visitor ClickMap it doesn't display all of the links on the page. I know there is one link that would quite high and make it into the top 20 ranking, but it's not evening being provided with an overlay like it's not being included. Is it something to do with the code or why don't some links populate in the map? Thanks!

Ok, user error I didn't even see there was the section you noted that allows you to enter the number of rows. I completely overlooked that section. All should work now! 🙂

Hi - I just followed what you said to do, but it still only downloaded what was on the current page. In this case, I downloaded page 1 and it ignored all of the data that fell on 2, 3, 4, etc...it won't give me the entire report. This is getting frustrating because I wouldn't think it would be that difficult to simply download the report in full, not just page by page.

Hi - I'm trying to export a report of our entire website pages viewed for the last year. I've noticed it does this, but haven't been able to find a work around. When I select Download and choose any of the format options, it only downloads the page displaying on the screen. Well, I don't want just the page displaying on the screen I'm trying to download the full report. Any suggestions as to why it does this or how to get the full data report? Thanks!Katrina

Oh so the key point I'm missing is having those key codes, which identify the campaign active on digital advertising, to then active the campaign and would then populate the information. Just to clarify I can choose what I want the key code to be (numerical value or alpha)? Then as long as that unique identifiers are tagged in the campaign the dimensions will populate in the different report sections. Then I can also use that unique identifier in the URL versus creating a rather long URL with al...

I attached a picture to show you. The classifications have been imported and show in the tracking codes. So, that's a plus. Although, when I look under the Campaigns and Tracking Codes classification reports (or any of the reports for that matter) the key codes/information from the classification document I imported does not populate. The one thing I could think of would be the key code section in the classification document. I inputted that information myself just like the rest of the document....

I was able to utilize the Classification Importer to layout my parameters and fill in the necessary information. I imported it back in and tried checking the Tracking Reports under Campaigns. It doesn't have anything populating. Shouldn't the Key names populate even if there isn't data to prove it's working? It seems like there is a step missing, but I'm just not quite sure what. I filled out the Classification template per the directions and imported it back it. All of the Conversion Classifica...

So, I want to clarify something though after doing some research on this topic. If I'm using the classification importer to setup my campaigns. I download the template, which will have my parameters set after I've added them in through the report suites into the proper environment I want to use. Then when I download the template I fill out all of the parameters sections identifying them, even the "Key" column? I set that column myself? Then I import it back into the classification importer. Then...

Is there step-by-step instructions posted anywhere for setting up campaign tracking for digital advertising? Our company hasn't used it before and I'm new to the Adobe platform, as well as haven't setup campaign tracking before. The company I was at before we had our own tool that generated the tracking information without us having to set it up ourselves. Is there any overview or resources available that clearly describes the steps to setting it up? Thanks!

It matches when the filter is removed, but then it's not displaying the information/pages that I need. So, with it filtered to the pages I need just trying to determine what that Total Visits is representing now?

That's what I originally assumed and then when it wasn't was where I thought I had it wrong again. I have checked both reports numerous times. The date range is exactly the same, in the same report suite and the only thing filtered is in the pages report when I search for the pages I am trying to display. No other segments or anything selected. Those screenshots in the earlier posts are exactly what I've gotten again.

I'm having a difficult trying to figure out and remember the total section. I know I've asked this before, but in need of a refresher. In the attached image it shows from the Pages Report five different page names. All are the same page as we transitioned through some changing to the page names. Even though I am in the pages report I thought it would be helpful to provide a general overview of number of visits and visitors for these pages to get a general idea of traffic. Since, we are in the pa...

I have a question regarding the Return Frequency Report. It automatically lists out Page Views, Visits and Unique Visitors. The first report I pulled was the Pages Reports and edited the Metrics to include Page Views, Visits and Unique Visitors. I haven't used the Return Frequency Report for delivering any reports before so I'd like to make sure I have answers before passing it along to my colleagues. Between the Return Frequency Report and the Pages Report, which both provide the same Metrics f...

Ok, I understand the mathematics and the reasoning for how the visits are counted and glad I'm clarified on the fact that the bottom total is for the website. But now I'm trying to make sense of the percentages that are provided. For example, some pages have such high percentages, but it just doesn't make any sense how this page receives 75% of the total site traffic. And then the pages listed below can have something like 15%, 22%, etc... That's just not making sense to me to say that high of p...

Thanks for the reply! But, I guess I'm still confused...I understand the fact that it is providing "visit" totals at the right for each line item (or in this total "visits" for specific pages over the period of three months). Although, I get lost trying to think about how that correlates to the total shown at the bottom of the screen that is under the page visit totals given per each line. Is that total just not useful and not a true total of the data provided?

What's the reason for my "Visits" column in my dashboard providing a total at the bottom of the screen that is completely different than in comparison to when I download the information and add it up in Excel? The first few line items of "Visits" counts you can tell just by looking at it that it's already adding up to more than the total provided at the bottom. Is this normal when calculating visits?
