You could probably create a real time transaction messages and target the SMS incoming message. The join would have to be both mobile and text. Then have an update in the background workflow. Worth a try.

You can create a workflow with an activity of an incremental query that monitors the resource Incoming SMS (inSMS) for a specific reply. Then the workflow can update the profile and send an sms auto-reply.

You could make your workflow triggered by a signal activity. Then create additional workflows to trigger it when wanted. John

If you look at the log of a sending log on a delivery you will see the messages you received when sending an email. Those messages can be set to a hard, soft, or ignore message using the navigation above. If that isn't what you want, then you need to give me the requirements or the problem you are trying to solve.

Click the Adobe Campaign logo, top left of screen, then Administration, then Channels, then Quarantines, and finally Message Qualification. You can update the failure type for each message (hard, soft, or ignore).

For the past several months my users have been having log in issue using chrome. Bottom line it has to do with cookies Adobe is using. I have logged an issue with support, but there response is "it's a chrome issue, use incognito". Unfortunately that looses all personalization to ACS screens which yes reverts to tile mode, etc. My users are having to remove all cookies from chrome which last for a short period of time and then the problem returns. They are getting very frustrated. Does anyone ha...

Yes it is possible to build a preference center, but you have to fool the landing page a bit. Create a service call ____Preference_Center. In the landing page select options check preload visitor data, reconcile by email, filter email, update strategy "Update", then click specific service and enter your preference center service you created above. Then copy the html into your landing page. That should get you started. Email Newsletter BlogUpdate Preferences

A lot has changed in ACS in 3 years and there maybe other options but I ended up using 3rd party software to read the RSS and create a file then send it via sftp where ACS can process it and send the daily email.

I created a workflow to update the campaign for a delivery. The key is in the query additional data you need the campaign id that you want to update it to. Here is a link to a gif to a workflow that goes through it step by step. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AXabOoI8f7Pike2iqIg_jcUS-8rrk_b0/view?usp=sharing

Gender is stored as an integer in the DB. So you may need to check for "1" = Male, "2" = Female, or "0" = unknown.

In one of the latest releases I noticed when viewing a Profiles Event List that the events are sorted Ascending and not Descending. Does anyone know if we can control that. When I view a profile I would like to see what are the recent events first.

I finally figured it out. It uses javascript logic. Here is a couple of examples of Applicability conditions: Testing for Nullcontext.delivery.campaign.label == '' Testing for Not Nullcontext.delivery.campaign.label != '' Hope that helps. John

There isn't any documentation on this. If you are looking to create a unique header the call it X-Header and assign the personalization field of the delivery id, like I mentioned earlier.

We use it for a different reason but here is what the value is X-rpcampaign:FamilyLifeID. The ID is a personalization field and is the delivery id. FamilyLife is the organization that sent it.

We just add a color to the content block and it works. Here is the code: <% if ( document.mode != 'mirror' && document.mode != 'forward' ) { %> View in Browser <% } %>

Adobe support has found the issue and an update is needed to the instances options. It is isolated to GMAIL clients. I suggest if you are seeing this same issue log a support ticket and reference ticket #E-000259460.

Some of our ministries have seen reduce open rates since early October which may correlate to the last ACS upgrade. I have looked into the tracking log for some deliveries and I know there are missing opens. Since I receive many of the emails and open all of them and I don't have an open I know its missing. I still have the emails in my arch box and verified I read it. Before I go through a long process with support I want to see if anyone else has noticed this. Thanks John

I had a similar issue and what I ended up doing is create a custom resource with fields and html content which in a workflow I grab the data each night and update the custom resource. I then have the custom resource fields in the dynamic recurring delivery. John

Use table Incoming SMS (InSMS). You have limited number of fields to query. But you can get both sending and receiving phone numbers, and the message that was sent. Unfortunately you have to substring out the phone numbers.

Thanks David. I appreciate the answer. I was just trying to post to get an access token. This feature is very limited. Pretty much useless for most api's.

I run a monthly query over the delivery log by profile. Then I count how many profiles received less then 5 emails a month, 5-10, 11-15, 16-20, 21-30, 31+. Here is what it looks like.
