You are correct with what you stated above. Your only other option is to set it up as a transactional message and use a data collection. It works great, but we end up doing content updates in the html and not the editor. Here are a couple of screenshots for an example. Blessings, John

We have ACS and I can set up brands just fine. Click the Adobe Campaign logo in top left corner, then Administration. Select Instance Settings and then Brand Configuration.

Instead of an export it is probably easier to save it to an Audience. Then you can Read the audience and reconcile it to a profile and then use it for segmentation or enrichment. 1. Create a query of records and under additional data add the email address you want to send to.2. Reconcile to a profile the email you want to send to.3. Save it to the audience4. Create a fork and add Read Audience to both sides. a. On side of the fork add dedup email address5. Create an Enrichment- Primary will be t...

My I suggest it maybe easier to send the notification to the creator of the workflow. You could reconcile to the creator's profile and then send an email requesting the workflow be changed. Otherwise you will need use a query collection of the workflow ids and reconcile to your profile before sending an email.

Copy the topology rule and change the command from logWarning to logError. To copy the topology rule you will need to export it, then change the code, then import it as a new name.

You need to add an enrichment activity to your workflow to include the additional info. Do it after the reconciliation. There will be 2 into the enrichment activity. Reconciliation activity and the Load activity.

What I have done in the past is to pass it in using additional data or enrichment step. Instead of id, I just encrypt the email address like this: encryption_aescbcEncrypt(@email,'\x9999adc9a9b9b99f', '\xd99999e999ecd99')

In the enrichment step, make your query primary and uncheck Keep All additional data from the main set. Under relational definition use your Audience, then source will be @address and destination will be your additional data field. Under the Additional data tab, add a field from your audience like Demo_Code.

Did you rename the alias under additional data to @email, then use @email for the join.

Our deliverability vendor is requesting we put something in place to stop the use of Bit.ly links. We have tried educating our user base, but some just forget. Does anyone know a way to stop emails with these links from sending? Topology rule, script, .....?

You could probably create a real time transaction messages and target the SMS incoming message. The join would have to be both mobile and text. Then have an update in the background workflow. Worth a try.

You can create a workflow with an activity of an incremental query that monitors the resource Incoming SMS (inSMS) for a specific reply. Then the workflow can update the profile and send an sms auto-reply.

If you look at the log of a sending log on a delivery you will see the messages you received when sending an email. Those messages can be set to a hard, soft, or ignore message using the navigation above. If that isn't what you want, then you need to give me the requirements or the problem you are trying to solve.

For the past several months my users have been having log in issue using chrome. Bottom line it has to do with cookies Adobe is using. I have logged an issue with support, but there response is "it's a chrome issue, use incognito". Unfortunately that looses all personalization to ACS screens which yes reverts to tile mode, etc. My users are having to remove all cookies from chrome which last for a short period of time and then the problem returns. They are getting very frustrated. Does anyone ha...

Yes it is possible to build a preference center, but you have to fool the landing page a bit. Create a service call ____Preference_Center. In the landing page select options check preload visitor data, reconcile by email, filter email, update strategy "Update", then click specific service and enter your preference center service you created above. Then copy the html into your landing page. That should get you started. Email Newsletter BlogUpdate Preferences

A lot has changed in ACS in 3 years and there maybe other options but I ended up using 3rd party software to read the RSS and create a file then send it via sftp where ACS can process it and send the daily email.
