I understand about dates and formats, and the dates is being displayed in the way that I want it, but I can't find an option anywhere which says the user can ONLY select a date via the drop down menu.I actually want typing to be restricted so that the only way a user can input a date is by selecting drop down arrow and selecting a date from the calendar that pops up. Is this possible? Please let me know it if it is and how I can do it. Apart from that, everything seems to be ok!Thanks-Igor

Hey guys, another question for your expertise.I have selected the options on the object palette which say user entered- required for a number of fields: a date field and 2 time fields. and then an empty message to display if no data is entered...yet when i save and run the form, i can click into those cells, not enter any data, move onto the next cell and it doesnt display the empty message.any idea what im doing wrong?

Hey.Apologies for asking so many questions. My first question relates to the compatibility of LiveCycle with versions of Adobe Reader. I'm using LiveCycle version 8.2.1.3144.1.471865.When I complete the form I'm working on, clients will be filling out my forms in Adobe Reader, as I doubt that most of them have a copy of Adobe Acrobat (full version) like I'm using to create these forms. I'm not saying Adobe Acrobat is bad in any way, I'm only saying that the target market I'm dealing with simply w...

Hey everyone.I should just point out that I am very very new at creating forms.I'm sure that what I need help with won't be complicated. Here goes...I want to create a phone number field, where whoever is filling in the form must enter the phone number in the following way:(zz)zzzz-zzzzThis is an Australian phone number for mat where (zz) is the area code (e.g. (03). I would like livecycle to automatically insert the brackets around the area code.the rest is self explanatory, if the user enters ...
