We are moving content from our AEM 6.2 to 6.3 instance and we have a huge DAM. I was wondering whats the best method to migrate this huge DAM from once AEM instance to another?

Is it possible to sync a user group from my IDP?If I have a group called "developer" in my IDP and the same user group called "developer" in AEM, is there a way to add this to "Synchronized Attributes" so when the user logs in they are a part of that group in AEM as well? If so whats the sync path?

Do you know which handler it is? I can't find any docs on it. I tired extending SamlAuthenticationHandler (com.adobe.granite.auth.saml) and overriding createOrUpdateCRXUser but it doesn't seem to be firing.Having everyone under communities would be exactly what I am looking for.

AEM 6.3 - SAML - Change the path where the user is saved

We are using SAML to authentication users in our Communities environment but by default SAML creates the users in /home/users but for communities we need them in /home/users/community.Is there a way to change the path (via a config or a java hook) to change where SAML saves these user accounts? When the user is created in /home/users they cannot see other usernames of posters (only unknown user) because the ACL property for everyone to access the profile lives on the community folder. I could add...

Thanks! This appears to work.I was confused in the git file where it said " // A Pattern OR Regex must be provided."so I thought we had to use one or the other

I am trying to get a filter to fire before the authentication service fires, it looks like the HTTP whiteboard is the way to go.I've been following instructions here https://helpx.adobe.com/experience-manager/kt/platform-repository/using/osgi-http-whiteboard-code-sample-develop.html and here https://github.com/Adobe-Consulting-Services/acs-aem-samples/blob/master/bundle/src/main/java/com/adobe/acs/samples/filters/impl/SampleServletFilter.java.i see the init and activate methods firing when I ins...

Re: Link to initiate a SAML login

It's IDP initiated. That's what we have been doing, hitting a page that required authentication but when the authentication is successful the user is redirected back to the page that requires authentication. I.e. a user is on /index.html, clicks on Login in the nav, which is a link to /login.html that required authentication, SAML successful authenticates and brings the user back to login.html when ideally we want to go back to index.html.

I'm sure there must be a simple solution to this but I can't seem to figure it out.I have a site that has SAML authentication. Is there a way to initiate the login from a link or button? i.e login button in the header that brings the user to the IDP page so it can redirect back after login?

Landing Pages - Switching from Desktop to Mobile

I'm trying to understand how AEM's landing pages work (Landing Pages). When you have a desktop (index.html) and mobile version (mobile.index.html) does AEM do anything on publish to automatically switch between versions or does this logic have to manually be done somewhere else (like the dispatcher)?

I haven't found a good solution for this and hope someone else has come across this.I have a navigation component (HTL) where all the links in the component live in the component HTML. Is there a way to get these links to automatically update to their language copy path on rollout?i.e.Hardcoded link: /content/site/language-masters/en/products.htmlWant link to update to: /content/site/us/en/products.html after rollout.Any ideas?

Looks like a limitation in AEM, here's my response from the ticket:"This is not a bug but an implementation limitation. SAML configuration only allows to auto create a user under /home/users, however, it does not have an option to specify a custom path for users placeholder.OOTB there, not any suitable workaround, you can possibly implement some listener that can move created users to /home/users/community or even create a workflow that can be triggered to move users.I'll log an enhancement for ...

We are using SAML to auto-create users in AEM when they log in. Its working fine but the user is getting created in /home/users/* but we would like them to get added to /home/users/community/* so they get all the correct ACL permissions.Right now users can't edit their profiles (blank screen) when created via saml but if they are created using the default AEM login component they are created in /home/users/community and have the right permissions to edit profiles.

We are currently in the process of upgrading to 6.3 and wanted to update our project structure as well.I ran Lazybones and generated the project structure and noticed it created an "artifactId.core" folder for my java files. How would I structure multiple OSGI bundle services in this structure? Would it be the same way as it was structured in the "bundles" folder in the old archetype?i.e.artifactId.core--bundle1-service----pom.xml--bundle2-service----pom.xmlpom.xmlAll the examples I'm finding on...
