Migrating an AEM DAM to another DAM instance

We are moving content from our AEM 6.2 to 6.3 instance and we have a huge DAM. I was wondering whats the best method to migrate this huge DAM from once AEM instance to another?

You could see if crx2oak [1] or Vault remote copy [2] help your case by validating in any of your lower environments.

Can crx2oak be used to sync content between 2 remotes instances? I only found examples for local instances.
