Adobe.IO Integrations Section Failing to Load

I've encountered an issue today where the Integrations section of the Adobe.IO Console appears to be failing to load.I haven't used the console in a while, but this morning I added myself as a developer in Admin Console with the goal of creating a new integration. Then, when I visited the console the following errors occurred:This was what was visible in the main browser window - And in the browser console, the following JS errors were present:The first two seemed to occur when I first loaded th...

As a quick note for folks:I did some diagnosis on my own regarding the mbox3rdPartyId parameter not showing up in my mBox calls and wanted to share quickly:Based on what I've found, there seems to be an issue when using at.js 2.1.0 with DTM where setting an mbox3rdPartyId doesn't work. Effectively, any parameters in your "Global Variables" section in DTM will get ignored when at.js tries to set the mbox3rdPartyId parameter for the Page View mBox call or a getOffer mBox call. However, when you us...

Hi Ryan - first off thanks for the feedback. Quick questions/responses:Yeah, we're not doing anything special with the cookies so I think we are in what you would consider a 'default 1st party cookie deployment'. I wish there was an easy way to detect the user leaving the kiosk - there is a website log-out which we might be able to use but because it causes navigation I'm wary of relying on that 100% (If I could get the log-out servlet to delete the mbox cookie, that would probably be ideal but ...

I'm working on a deployment of Target/Recommendations on a standard website (i.e. not a single page app). We're running at.js 2.1.0 and we have Experience Cloud ID service running, as well as Analytics. We're also using mbox3rdPartyID to leverage the the client's internal user IDs so that we can more accurately map and maintain profile data for specific users. Most everything about this deployment is straightforward, but I've run into a use case that is a little bit odd.One of our key stories is ...

Okay - that makes sense. From that, it sounds like you have a 'Set Variables' action in your rule. Do you have a 'Send Beacon' action in your rule as well? I also generally recommend having a 'Clear Variables' action after every time a beacon is sent, but that will depend on how you're designing the beacons you send.Assuming you're sending a beacon, you have a few options for locating it.Option 1) The easiest way I've found to locate it in the Network tab would be to filter based on the name of t...

Some more details would be necessary to troubleshoot your situation - it is often the case that a Launch rule won't produce any new entries in the Network panel of your browser (for example - an Adobe Analytics 'Set Variables' action). Can you tell us more about the rule you've created and what your intention with it is?

This would actually be really helpful for us as well: we have a number of deployment situations in which the Activity Map will be collecting PII and must be disabled. Right now, like Sarah, we have to customize the library in order to remove the activity map in those situations.

I just tested in my instance, taking a rule that had been working. I added some values to the "Set Variables" call and I'm now seeing the same issue where "Send Beacon" is happening before "Set Variables". I did not change the ordering at all. This seems like it's an issue with Launch itself - something in the compiling and building of the rules?

On one of the sites I'm running, what I had to do was actually remove PDFs from the default download tracking and then implement a customized s.tl() call on all of our PDF downloads. The quick version is a click rule on elements with a specific CSS class, and inside there I write the logic to build the beacon (capture the additional eVars such as a human readable PDF name, set linktrackvars/events) and send off the s.tl() call manually. I'm curious if there's a better way to do that now.

If you go to the publishing tab inside Launch and open up your library, is the published version of the rule the latest version? You can actually click on the rule's name inside the library and see the actual version that's being published by that library and see if it matches what you expect to be seeing.

Launch does require you to create a new library instance that you can put your changes into.In "Publishing" there's a plus button on the far left in Development, you should be able to click that:And then you'll actually be able to create a Library to actually put your rules/data elements/etc into:Just give it a name and select the appropriate environment, and you should be good to go. You should also see it in the "Working Library" dropdown in the upper right after creation.

I'm working on an internal demo/test platform that is being built to be a one-stop-shop for demonstrating capabilities of Adobe Launch to prospective customers. Currently, we have implemented Adobe Analytics, Audience Manager, and we're working through Adobe Target as well as Google Universal Analytics.I've run into an issue with Google Universal Analytics's Enhanced ECommerce plug-in where every call we make is being transmitted one pageview later than it is supposed to be, and this seems to be...

Rule & Data Element Revision Comparison
Avatar

In Adobe DTM, there was a robust system that allowed side-by-side comparison of any pair of revisions of a single rule. I am now deeply missing that functionality in Adobe Launch.Currently, I am able to easily access a revision of a rule that's in an Upstream library (for example, while I'm developing updates to a rule, I can see the current 'live' version of the rule) - but I have no indication of what changes have been made. Furthermore, I can't find a way to review an older, non-published rev...

S-Code-Contents JS loaded twice on page by DTM?

I have an Adobe Analytics implementation that I am extending to a new brand on the same site. We are performing an upgrade from H Code to JS code, and so there are currently two version of analytics existing in the QA environment (the H code version delivered by Tealium which is being phased out, and the JS version being delivered by DTM which is being phased in). The Analytics variable name has been correctly overridden to "sDtm" instead of just "s".On this new brand however, I'm noticing 3 AA ...

Pathing reports supported in Workspace?

Hi - I've been migrating a dashboard from "traditional" AA into a Workspace, but I'm having trouble with one specific report. I've done a forum search here, checked the AA Youtube channel, and dug through the documentation but I'm still stuck. This workspace is for tracking a bunch of details about a new modal we deployed, and one of the graphs is to determine where people are arriving at the modal's FAQ from. Effectively, when Prop 4 (Page Type) is MODAL_FAQ, what was the Previous Page's Prop 4 ...

Adobe DTM - Google Universal Analytics - Disable individual domains on a property
Avatar

Hi - is it possible to disable Google Universal Analytics delivery on an individual property inside DTM? One of the three domains in my property is actually having issues with GUA (specifically, the autolinker is decorating links incorrectly and causing some issues with pages not able to be delivered correctly) and I was wondering if I could simply disable GUA (or the autolinker itself? I don't need the domains linked.) We have a plan in the process to allow us to take these domains to separate ...
