Re: Functions to encrypt or decrypt PII data in Adobe Campaign Classic daniell35335226 - Adobe Campaign Classic
Hi AbhijitI don't full understand your question if im honest however there is a link here :https://docs.campaign.adobe.com/doc/AC/en/technicalResources/Technotes/AdobeCampaign_How_to_send_personalized_secure_links.pdfThat might help you. It is campaign classic. If you download the jsapi.chm file for classic you will see two global functions you can use. CyrptString and Decrypt.I hope that helps - im travelling at the moment but saw your post on my mobile and thought this may help. Dan

Re: Read List daniell35335226 - Adobe Campaign Standard
That is a different use case, the one I described is valid. For example list's used by multiple workflows. In these forums, it is good to provide new comers to the platform with examples of real world use cases and let them decide the route. I tend not to make statements like 'dont think there is much need' but thanks for your input.Dan

Re: Read List daniell35335226 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi Another example (that a lot of our customers come up against) is where you have been given an external file from another team or partner - let's say its a csv file that contains a list of email addresses that should be excluded from a campaign. You can upload the csv file into a 'list' and then inside of a workflow use the read list, to make the data available within the workflow.Kind Regards,Dan

Re: Using different entities within offer engine daniell35335226 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi Thank you for the further information. I now better understand what you are looking to do. My understanding is that product offers should display the SKU, the product name, the URL and the price when the offer is brought into the delivery and the Category offers should contain the code, name and % discount? In this case, you could extend the offer schema and add the additional attributes here; and then update the offer form to display only the fields that are relevant to that offer type. So s...

Re: Using different entities within offer engine daniell35335226 - Adobe Campaign Standard
I'm not sure I completely follow however, on of our customers had a similar use case. We achieved it by having different offer environments each having there own targeting dimension. To do this:Select the environment. From the menu tab that is now shown, click the 'environment' button. You will now see the environment configuration - which is defaulted to Recipient targeting dimension. If you were to change this to match for example, Products. Then you will then see the eligibility for offers chan...

Re: Store images on other server than Adobe Campaign daniell35335226 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,To give you a detailed answer, I would need to understand more about your expectation. However, at a high level, you can have an email sent from Adobe Campaign that references images that are stored on another server, for example, a digital asset management system. We have completed work for our clients that have simply been to build an HTML email for Adobe Campaign where all images are hosted by a third party system. We have also done work for clients; when they want to store and display those...

Re: Custom Primary Key daniell35335226 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi,Your code looks correct to me. I have tested and works. On the database layer; OOTB schemas have the same pattern. In adobe campaign here is am example of the Tracking Logs schema where TrackingLogId is the pkey in the schema:You can see it has a red key next to it to indicate primary key. Whereas if I look in the underlying database - it see this:So what you are experiencing is by design. I hope that helps clear that up.Kind Regards,Dan LewisTech Marketer Solutionshttp://www.techmarketersolu...

Re: Username/Password for Webservice LOGON in Adobe Campaign Classic daniell35335226 - Adobe Campaign Classic
Hi Karan, You need to whitelist the IP addresses you are calling from. You can do this two ways:1. In the rich client; you can navigate to the operator area and add your ip:Click on edit the access parameters and then 'add trusted ips' and add your ip in there. The second route, its updating your security zones but i wouldn't recommend this route tbh. Re: Spam Assassin Rule -Refresh daniell35335226 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi Aditya From my experience, this is normally an activity that is done by request as implementation of this feature is not wholly owned by Adobe and the script used to initially set this feature up requires some additional activities in order to make it a recurring process; it is also subject to firewall rules as well given that the rules need to be called from apache servers to check for updates. Not a concrete answer but hopefully that helps. DanTech Marketer Solutionshttp://www.techmarketers...

Re: Use query data in the delivery daniell35335226 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi Vignesh, You can go to your operator and give your operator this named right ="SQL SCRIPT EXECUTION". That should allow you to run the workflow. The alternative is to create the same query using javascript server Query Def - which I find less efficient.

Re: Username/Password for Webservice LOGON in Adobe Campaign Classic daniell35335226 - Adobe Campaign Classic
Hi Karan, I hope I understand the question correctly, but a SOAP call really has two stages 1) Make a call to logon method to get session/security tokens and 2) Make a call with those tokens against the web service you wish to interact with. In the screenshot you have, you can pass in your own credentials, the same ones you would use to login to the rich desktop client (although for production there is a dedicated 'Web Service Agent' logon that only has access to the platform via api. For soap u...

Re: Changes to email after pending confirmation daniell35335226 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi Carina You will need to restart the delivery for the changes to take effect - this is also best practice so that you can track accurately your approval process. Different delivery types can offer different outcomes in this scenario but I would recommend hitting 'restart'.Dan LewisTech Marketer Solutionshttp://www.techmarketersolutions.com

Re: Use query data in the delivery daniell35335226 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi Vignesh We have done similar things for our customers, whereby a user group needs to be alerted via an email to a list of failed workflows. There are several ways to do this, to be honest, however, I found the following approach to be pretty straightforward and fast. The email is sent via an alert in this case:Step 1, the workflow consists of a start, javascript, alert and end activity. The Javascript is going to query the workflow table and look for paused workflows; then for each paused wor...

Re: Custom Primary Key daniell35335226 - Adobe Campaign Standard
Hi, This is achievable by adding several additional lines of code into your xml schema. Firstly, you need to advise the schema that that primary key will not be auto generated. If you look at an out of the box schema (such as nms:recipient) you will notice this line of xml:Then, I just need to tell the schema which attribute would now become the primary key. So this is the attribute that i will use as my PK: So i add the following xml : This should now result in the following:If you need any f...
