Re: WcmUsePojo Vs Sling Models briankasingli-4 - Adobe Experience Manager
I recommend Sling Models because there are very restrictive test libraries that support WCMUsePojo. Sling Models FTW!

Re: AEM Forms 6.3, Service Pack 2, CF2 installation on Linux errors briankasingli-4 - Adobe Experience Manager Forms
Okay, SOLVEDThe issue was because we included the BouncyCastle libraries before installing the AEM Forms Package. Steps below solved the problem.Timeline of how Packages installed (in order, and watch error.logs closely before starting AEM):AEM 6.3 Service Pack 2[Wait] restart after error.log's indicate that nothing else is being installed; restart AEMAEM 6.3 Service Pack 2 CF 2[Wait] restart after error.log's indicate that nothing else is being installed; restart AEMAEM Forms 6.3.2.2 (Forms Ser...

AEM Forms 6.3, Service Pack 2, CF2 installation on Linux errors briankasingli-4 - Adobe Experience Manager Forms
Hello,After installing AEM Forms 6.3.2.2, our AEM cannot be restarted and is stuck on startup. We ensure that the Boot delegate RSA and BouncyCastle libraries are included in the sling.properties file after installing AEM Forms and dependencies packages. Also before the restart of AEM after the the Forms Package installation, there were many bundles such as the AEMFD Signatures Bundle cannot be started.Environment:AEM 6.3 Service Pack 2, CF 2AEM 6.3 Forms Service Pack 2, CF2 (4.1.74) LINUX https...

Re: AEM Form Component, Use Page Language Checkbox, Broken briankasingli-4 - Adobe Experience Manager
I figured it out when the “Use Page Language Checkbox” is selected, the embedded adaptive form uses the locale within the URL. in this case, if my URL was adode.com/kr, my adaptive form will load up the language, "Korea", at runtime. This was a bit confusing because I thought the page properties, language selection, was the property that the adaptive form looks at.

AEM Form Component, Use Page Language Checkbox, Broken briankasingli-4 - Adobe Experience Manager
OOTB AEM Form Component: /libs/fd/af/components/aemformWhen creating a new page, I will use the OOTB AEM Form Component. I set my page locale to Japanese, and select on the “Use Page Language Checkbox” in my AEM Form Component settings. Localization on runmode does not work. Are we expecting to see a fix for this feature?

Re: HTTP POST Request URL: guideContainer.af.internalsubmit.jsp && guideContainer.af.submit.jsp briankasingli-4 - Adobe Experience Manager Forms
Hey Mayank GandhiWhat is actually happening when the HTTP Request has been made? 1. HTTP request #1. invoked -> */jcr:content/guideContainer.af.internalsubmit.jsp?. What is actually happening here?2. HTTP request #2. invoked -> */jcr:content/guideContainer.af.submit.jsp?. What is actually happening here?My guess is HTTP request #1 is doing a server validation, while HTTP request #2 is actually fullfilling the form action. From my deep digging, both HTTP request are made from the guideBridge API.

Re: Form will not submit using the File Attachment OOTB Component in the Publish Server briankasingli-4 - Adobe Experience Manager Forms
It's a Mac OSX problem. I've put together an adaptive form with the exact same setup on a Windows machine, and everything is working fine; anonymous can successfully attach files. In the past, working with the Forms add-on package, Windows usually performs the best; I usually get problems on the Mac OSX machines. However, please explain the temporary location and files attachments are actually uploaded to the adaptive form? Documentation skips this low level detail. Thanks.

Form will not submit using the File Attachment OOTB Component in the Publish Server briankasingli-4 - Adobe Experience Manager Forms
Submitting the form does not submit when the "File Attachment" adaptive form component exists on the adaptive form. No logged in users are proceeded, the form is published, and the submit action is the simple out of the box email submit action. On submit, in the network tab, I can see that the HTTP Request URL stops at /content/forms/af/my-test-adaptive-form/jcr:content/guideContainer.af.internalsubmit.jsp. Typically on a successful submission, the HTTP Request URL should go to /content/forms/af/...

HTTP POST Request URL: guideContainer.af.internalsubmit.jsp && guideContainer.af.submit.jsp briankasingli-4 - Adobe Experience Manager Forms
Hello I have a question about AEM Adaptive Forms being submitted Scenario: For the sake of simplicity, I have my submission action set to the OOTB email action. As I monitor the submission action from an Adaptive Form, In the network tab, I realized that there are 2 requests applied. 1. */jcr:content/guideContainer.af.internalsubmit.jsp- What is this actually doing?- Where can I read the implementation for this?2. */jcr:content/guideContainer.af.submit.jsp- What is this actually doing?- Where ca...

Hello Tim,Can you please give me a use case to why you would want to use a watch folder? Couldn't we just set a launcher to watch a folder in DAM assets for any file uploads?
