VEC/SPA + Asynchronous Data bkmills1 - Adobe Target
Hi community, I see a lot about how the VEC can be used to make simple changes to SPAs. This is demonstrated here. But how does this work when the data being accessed is loaded asynchronously? What if a state-change occurs on a view (log-in/out, sort order, lazy-loading)? How, or better yet, can this handled using the VEC? I imagine there's some coding going on. But are devs using pure DOM manipulation, or some other method, for example, Angular Elements as demonstrated here: https://shinesoluti...

delta.shayan - While the cause wasn't immediately obvious, the template string was being used within the test code. It was not associated with AT.js or our Bootstrap.js.

@mikewebguy - This is exactly what I'd expect it it were an XT activity type. However, this is definitely an A/B test. We're going conduct some internal investigation to see if we can determine the cause.

Multiple Experiences Delivered bkmills1 - Adobe Target
Hello community,I'm wondering if anyone has encountered an issue where they qualified for one experience on one page, and a different experience on a subsequent page, all within the same test activity and user journey? Our team launched a test and almost immediately we began seeing the ability to enter one experience, continue to another page, then Target delivered another experience from the same test. It literally delivered experience C, then experience A (Control).Any insight or experiences wi...

SYSTEM Deactivated Profile Script bkmills1 - Adobe Target
Hello Forum,I'm posting to inquire about how/why the Target "SYSTEM" would deactivate a profile script? We have two of them that exclude our internal IP addresses, and to the best of my knowledge have worked for quite some time. However, it was brought to my attention, after activating a test, that someone from one of the excluded IPs was able to qualify. It was only after checking that I discovered that the two profile scripts were deactivated back in June of this year.Any insight is appreciated...

I'm getting the following error message in the response when I import my curl into Postman:{"error_code": "401013","message": "Oauth token is not valid"}Per the previous suggestions I've generated a token using both:openssl req -x509 -sha256 -nodes -days 365 -newkey rsa:2048 -keyout private.key -out certificate_pub.crtANDopenssl req -nodes -text -x509 -newkey rsa:2048 -keyout secret.pem -out certificate.pem -days 356But ...

Re: Target API error - created only Adobe Target Classic bkmills1 - Adobe Target
Hello Siddharth,I'm experiencing the same thing, however, I followed the steps to create an Offer by setting up the Adobe I/O integration. After generating my JWT and using the curl script, I was able to create an offer via Postman, but like John describes, it's shown as coming from Target Classic. Our organization hasn't used Target Classic since before its decommission.I should note that, this doesn't appear to cause any problems, as I was able to select the offer from within a test activity. ...

Re: Difference between Chrome Mobile and Google Chrome in analytics bkmills1 - Adobe Analytics
Hello @pratheep - I'm having a similar issue in which I'm unable to enter a test activity via Chrome Mobile (60+) using a Samsung Galaxy.I've added a Mobile rule specifying the device type (Mobile) OS matches (Android), with an AND condition for a Browser rule equal to Chrome.According to your comment, selecting Mobile device with a Browser Type rule, defines the browser as the mobile version? However, the above conditions don't qualify for entry.First get into Mobile Device Type, under Mobile P...

Re: Trouble Targeting IE11 bkmills1 - Adobe Target
No, that code is not present in our Bootstrap.js bundle. However, I discovered the problem. After running the code in console, I got an invalid character error. There was a template string being used, which is not supported in IE. Changing the `` to '' made all the difference. Thanks for taking the time to help me with this. You are appreciated!!!

@karandhawan - Our implementation is with Ensighten.Attached is a screen shot listing the errors I noticed this morning.Something I didn't notice yesterday, is the global_mbox is firing, but the test is not. I should point out again that we have been able to enter via Edge. However, for purposes of troubleshooting this, I've changed the entry criteria to only include IE11.Do you think Ensighten has something to do with blocking IE11? This is not the only test activity we're having trouble with a...

Hi Karan,Yes, in dev tools, the Network tab in particular, I can see a reference to the my test/experience in the Response Body. However, I'm also getting "ttMETA object does not exist" in console. The errors I'm seeing are related to:SEC7120: Origin now found in Access-Control-Allow-Origin header.SCRIPT7002: XMLHttpRequest: Network Error 0x80700013, Could not complete the operation due to error 80700013.Any idea if these could be related?- Brion

Trouble Targeting IE11 bkmills1 - Adobe Target
Hi all,I've got an A/B test activity in which I'm targeting Chrome, FF, Safari, Edge, and IE11. All browsers work with the exception of IE11.I can't determine what is wrong with my audience configuration. See attached.I've included an additional OR to include Browser Type equals IE and Browser Version equals 11. Is there any reason, with this config, that I would not enter the test using IE11?Thanks in advance for your help/guidance!- Brion

ERROR: Referring to invalid nodes bkmills1 - Adobe Target
Good morning/afternoon,Is anyone having issues with Target Standard/Premium, where upon saving a change, an error message is shown stating: ERROR Referring to invalid nodes? After opening an activity to make a change to, I was greeted with this error message. Initially I thought it was the custom code change I made--maybe something was missing. But no. I opened a completely different activity, made no changes then clicked Save, and got the same error message.I've logged out/in. I also opened Targ...

Re: Auto Create Global Mbox vs. Custom Global Mbox bkmills1 - Adobe Target
Thanks again RamH!I believe our flicker is a result of using a custom global mbox. We prevent flicker by setting the targeted content to '0' opacity, then change the opacity to '1' once Target fires--similar to what the Auto Created Global Mbox does, just not on the body. So, a few final questions:Does using Global Auto Create, force us to build test activities with the VEC?Are they mutually exclusive? Will using the Form-based Composer have any affect on flicker?

Re: Auto Create Global Mbox vs. Custom Global Mbox bkmills1 - Adobe Target
Thank you, Ram!We are currently using at.js, but still experience some flicker in tests.Considering the VEC and auto creating Global Mboxes, does the same apply with regard to the Form-based Composer? We use both VEC and FBC.It sounds like the best (only) way to avoid flicker is to use Auto Create?

Auto Create Global Mbox vs. Custom Global Mbox bkmills1 - Adobe Target
Hello,Our team is working to reduce flicker as much as possible in our test activities, and are weighing the options for using a Custom Global Mbox (current implementation) versus auto-creating a Global Mbox. What are the potential adverse affects of switching from one to the other, particularly as it relates to live test activities? I understand that once saved, all activities will sync with the auto created mbox. This doesn't sound like an ideal scenario. Can the implementation be changed to use...
