  • Actually, it'd be very easy to spy on someone when coding a native Objective C application on the iOS.  In fact, with enough dedication I know it's technically feasible to do the same thing with Adobe Flash Builder, just I don't want to have to senselessly go through that pain.  The iOS doesn't ask ...

  • I was all proud of myself because I got a working video demo using the "WebCamera" class on my iPod Touch but it has one irritating problem: the user is asked to start the video feed.  Is there any way to override/disable this so the feed starts when the user clicks on one of my buttons?  It seems s...

  • Ya I think you're a little confused on what LCCS is my friend - LCCS is an all-in-one solution.  It takes care of the whole conferencing problem with minimal code, making Adobe do all the heavy lifting.  FMS isn't used at all - I don't think it's even possible to use a combination of LCCS and FMS be...

  • Is there any way to hack/force front-facing camera support? I understand the feature is probably disabled because Android devices are a nightmare on the front facing camera thing but I'm building an iOS app and there shouldn't be any technical trickery to make it work.

  • I'm assuming you want to do this to avoid the expensive video transfer bandwidth fees?  In which case, using LCCS and specifying that you only want to allow peer-to-peer connections will just use LCCS to do the handshake and keep it dirt cheap.

  • More or less a "mask" - I'm thinking perhaps just temporarily putting a transparent .PNG on top of the video feed? Would Flex permit that?Ideally, I'd like to also do real-time video effects like Flash permits:http://www.flashcomguru.com/index.cfm/2005/9/29/Live-video-effects-in-Flash-8--a-small-dem...

  • Hello all,I confess I'm still a total newbie with Flex so I'm more or less throwing this out there to get an idea of technical capability.  I'm trying to create a mobile flex application that first overlays a simple cut-out of a person on top of a live video stream from the front facing camera befor...

  • I'm building a mobile application that LCCS seems perfect for with one exception: there doesn't seem to be any way to record client video streams. The natural structure of LCCS with peer multicasting looks like there is no server middle-man that would have the ability to record RTMP streams:http://le...
