Building a budget form where I would like to pro-rate the budgeted amounts by calendar days in the year. Rather than asking the user to specify the start and end date for each calendar year to which the budget applied, I have built in only the overall start date and end date. The challenge has been calculating the number of days in each calendar year that fall within the range and adding these to separate numeric fields. I was thinking there might be a need to manufacture start and end dates for...

Is there a method, either in javascript or formcalc, for counting duplicate values from across a given repeating field. AnI know this simple code generates a count of all non-null values. Any help is greatly appreciated.$ = Count(PBE.Page2.SubFormEcho.SubformCharlie.TableA.RowX[*].DateTimeField1)

Have a dynamic table and am trying to validate the current row's date field (DateTimeField1 for i) against the previous row's date field (DateTimeField2 for i-1) and an event start date with a fixed field (PStart_Date). var rowCountY = this.resolveNodes("RowX[*]");for (var i=0; i < rowCountY.length; i++){if ((PBE.Page2.SubFormEcho.SubformCharlie.TableA.RowX.DateTimeField1.rawValue >= PBE.Page1.ProjectInfoSubform.Table3.Row3A.PStart_Date.rawValue) && (PBE.Page2.SubFormEcho.SubformCharlie.TableA.R...

Have an expanding table nested in another expanding table. Attempting to count the number of times:The value in the "DateTimeField2" field in the last row of the nested table on the previous row of the main table is equal toThe value in the "DateTimeField2" field in the first row of the nested table on the next row of the main table.This one is driving me nuts, any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is what I have so far. Thanks again!var sumDCD = 0;var dcd = this.resolveNodes("RowX[*].Subf...

In my livecycle form, the dynamic table row values, except for the first row, are not being saved. The rows themselves save, just not the values. Have already set the "Preserve Scripting Changes to Form When Saved" to Automatic. Not sure what is causing this one. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!Here it is:Shared Files - Acrobat.com

Thanks Bruce, It was the instance manager - I used the exeCalculate( ) in another part of the form, and tested it with an app.alert to ensure the rows were then counting the number of instances correctly to perform the calculation properly.

I am using the below code to sum a dynamic table. Each time I add a second "Table1.Row1" row, and select the value that would render countU ==0 true, the Livecycle form will not re-calcuate the query correctly unless I re-select the first row "Table1.Row1" countU value. In other words, the dynamic table has two levels of expansion. When I try to add more row under each primary row, the calculation does not automatically run. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!var sumD = 0;var countS = this.resol...

Was thinking perhaps using formcalc Max( ) and isoDate2Num( ) conditions may work, however I've had trouble wrapping my head around how it would work in a dynamic table.

The form I am working with in ES4 has a dynamic table with the ability to (1) add rows - lets call these master rows- and (2) add rows within a subform on each of those master rows - lets call these child rows. Each of the child rows within a master row contain dates. I would like to calculate the Sum of the number of dates between the earliest and latest dates specified in the child rows date fields for each master row. How would I go about having ES4 look for the earliest and latest dates? Any...

Hi All,Attempting to sum two rows multiplied to each other (before they are summed as some of the values are zero) as well as infuse this calculation into a current fields calculation (at bottom) and have been unsuccessful thus far. Was not able to find something similar in past posts so thought I would take a shot at finally joining the forum and just asking the question. Can anyone help? Unable to get this to work in formcalc either. Not looking for just the answer, looking for the logic behin...
