Updates to production apps aren't immediate (up to 5 minutes). I suspect the update just didn't reach the device until later.In preflight it's a much shorter time, it's almost immediate.
InDesign CC 2015 does not support the classic Folio workflow. You must install an older version of InDesign to use the Folio workflow. There are details of this on the top of this page: Digital Publishing Suite
In InDesign open a document, select "File >Export". In the Format list you should see an entry for "DPS Article".Also, you should launch Creative Cloud to see if there's an update available. I don't have a screenshot of that handy.
The lock file issue is because the doc isn't actually closed. Change line 14 from "doc.close;" to "doc.close();" and that will clear that up.franciscon89715259 the script worked fine in with my install. Are you certain the DPS plug-ins are installed?
