Thank you Andrey but I don't think it match my needs. This is working
only if you want to have DAU and MAU for yesterday. For example, if today
is October 3rd, I'll get DAU as uniques visitors for yesterday (October
2nd) and MAU as uniques visitors during last 30 days (from Sep 4th to
October 2nd).But I won't get it for each day of a specific past
period! For example, I would like to have those figures for each day of
September. How do I do?
To clarify the problem:what I would like is a table with date (days) as
rows, and metrics in column « DAU », « MAU » and « DAU/MAU ratio ».For
example, for 2019-09-26, DAU would be the number of unique visitors
during the day of 2019-09-26, and MAU would be the number of unique
visitors during the time period of 30 days from 28/08/2019 to 26/09/2019
(included). And for 019-09-27, DAU would be the number of unique visitors
during the day of 2019-09-27, and MAU would be the number of unique
Hi,I'd like to calculate a "stickiness" metric for each day as DAU/MAU
where DAU is the "daily active user" (i.e. uniques visitors) of a
specific day and MAU is the "monthly active user" (i.e. unique visitors
for the 30 last days) for the same day (so period including this day and
29 days before). It's easy to get the DAU per day thanks to a simple
table with "day" dimension as rows and "unique visitors" metric as
column. But I don't know how to get the number of unique visitors on the
last 30 day...
"Show Raw Difference" option in "Summary Change" report allow to have
raw difference instead of percent change, but it is rounded! so if we
cannot compare digits after the decimal point. For exemple, I want to
compare two values of a metric that are 5.37 for one week and 5.18 for
another week, the segment comparison will give me "+0" as raw
difference, but I want to be able to have "+0.19".Nonetheless, with the
"abbreviate value" option that allows to display "1k" instead of "1,234"
we can chose ...
My advise would be to hide this label (uncheck "legend visible") in
visualization settings and edit the description of the report (right
click on the title).Description will be just under the title and not in
the bottom right corner, but at least you can write whatever you want.
Let me add that the circles are exactly at the same spot than anomalies
when "Show anomalies" option is checked, they just change of size... So
the problem is just that we cannot hide the anomalies anymore on line
Hi Brandon,First, yes it would be handy to be able to "snap" to the
Coutry, Region or City level for exemple in the settings of the Map
report. That's more or less what I'd like to have. Also, from my point of
view, what is currently displayed is NOT the countries level and then
the region level when you zoom, and the Cities level when you zoom
more...For exemple, here is a screenshot of why I get for one of my site
under some segment:As you can see, you cannot tell what is the value for
If they all have an account, you can create a group with all of them...
or you can add each one one by one (but yes if there is a large number
of people, it's a pain...)If you want to add several emails addresses,
it seems you have to add them one by one also (validating with "enter").
I believe it's not working if you copy and paste a list (even with a
separator...)Yes, it's a shame...
About the Map visualization: I think it's a really interesting feature.
But the way it is displayed, whether in "bubbles" or "heatmap", is not
practical to use. When zooming or unzooming, you never get to display
correctly what you want...It seems to me that this data is based on
GeoSegmentation in the same way as the "countries", "regions", cities
"," Zip code "," US States "and" US DMA "dimensions. So why could not we
have these dimensions in a map? (a map with countries, regions, US
Hi Eric, thanks for your answer.Well, indeed, it seems the "Launches"
metrics is directly linked to the Lifecycle hit...Your example of
segment is exactly what I did to check:- one segment "Visits with
pageview" set as a "visit" container with pageview metrics "exists".-
one segment "Visits without pageview" rthat"s exaclty the same one but
in exclusion.I do also have some errors counting in custom links (so
that can provide visit no page view), but very few compared to the total
volume of visit...
Hi,On my app, I noticed that I have a significant share of the visits
that have no "page view" hit.On the other hand, these visits have a
"custom link" hit with "custom link = ADBINTERNAL: Lifecycle".So I think
that these visits are counted when someone open the app and then close
it immediately, before to have a trackState event counting a page view
(hence the Lifecycle but no page view). But the share among total of
visits seems high ... Anyone to confirm I'm right (or not)? Also, I
wonder what ...
Hi Jerome, thanks for your answer. I agrre: having multiple "pageBottom"
will trigger multiple hits of page view. It's not what we
want.Personnaly, I didn't mean to trigger pageBottom multiple times.
What I meant is: I trigger one pageBottom at each page load (using a
track and a clearVar before). But I have multiple "page load rules" that
are triggerred by the unique pageBottom call. Those rules are applied or
not according to the filters set inside each rule.So I have only one hit
Hi here.@Adobe: any answer for this question? How can we identify traffic
coming from in-app browser vs classical browsers? For exemple, people
visiting your site from Facebook in-app browser or people using the app
of Google to browse your site?
Ok, I see. Classification should do it. BUT allow "OR" inside the
matches operator, or have some kind of "equals any of" operator would
really be better. That's the point of this submitted idea!Because
classification is not perfect in this case: - if you have a lot of
different segments you want to build (based on different IDs), you'll
need a LOT of different classifications...- if you have new IDs that are
created, they won't be in your current classification (in case that you
don't have patte...
Hi, I considered all this options, but in my opinion, there are not a
good answer to what we want to do.Here is why:For a "classical" website,
I would use "page load rules" triggered at "page bottom" (so when we
fire the code "_satellite.pageBottom()". The big advantage that I see is
that I can create many page load rules with different conditions to
trigger them. When a page is loaded, DTM will determine which of those
rules are triggered or not according to the triggering conditions. If
I wonder what you recommend in case the number of different values is
larger... Let's say we want to filter on 100 IDs or 1000 IDs... Would
you recommend to make 100 or 1000 "OR" statements? It's not possible to
manage it manually each time! So the response to this idea is not
Hi,I wonder what you recommend in case the number of different values is
bigger... Let's say we want to filter on 100 referring domains... Would
you recommend to make 100 "OR statements"? It's not possible to do that
each time we need it! I would recommend to use "contains any of" and
make a list. The only limitation here is that it's not exact matches, so
we may have trouble in case of ids for example (as "123" will match
"123" and "1234"), but it could be OK for referring domains.
Hi Jantzen, thanks for your answer.Yes, I tried the "return false" method
and then get a "SATELLITE: Adobe Analytics: custom init suppressed
beacon".Problem is that in this case, you're not able to use any
"pageBottom" anymore (neither the "implicit one, nor one we want to have
when a page of the SPA is loaded).I agree that I could use a direct call
rule or event based rule. Why I want to use page load rule (with page
bottom trigger) is because in this way I can have several page load
rules with ...
