As far as I know, in Events, Conditions and Exceptions it is only
possible to use the Core Extension. Just the Core Extension has useable
types to use, but also the types of e.g Analytics. So with the Core
Extension you could build a condition like "pageviews > 10 in current
It would be nice to have a possibility to tag rules and data elements,
like you can tag post here in the forum. With this it is much easier to
search for rules and data elements, especially if you have more then a
few of them .
Every event, condition and exception wich is saved in a rule is saved
with a name. It would be a time saver, if it is possible to reuse saved
events, conditions and exceptions in other new/existing rules.
UX improvement (for fast clicking users):If you add a change in the
Library Contents, then forget to delete or fill it and try to save the
library, the upcoming error sign is kind of small. The error sign is
just near the unfilled change ("Select a Change below"), but the blue
bar below the head "Library Contents" ("This library contains...") ist
much more visible. Thus you won't directly understand wich error
appeared or why you can't save.
As far as i know you can't delete orders. But it would be also the wrong
way in my opinion. If you delete the order you won't see e.g. wich
campaign, product, at what time or what kind of device leads to the
refund/canceld orders, You can't drill down in your data to see what
causes you the damage. In other words you will lost data wich is
i,portant to make the right desicions.Upload refund and canceld order,
with the cost and all other data you have from backend and you can even
dig deeper into t...
Does anyone has experience with an EBR "Data Element Monitoring"?In
theory we want to track a whole SPA just with EBRs dataelementchanged.
In the documentation is a passage saying "Be conservative in the number
of dataelementchanged event types that are referenced on a single page.
Although the monitoring is efficient, large numbers of evaluations could
impact page performance." Is it worse then tracking all with DCR?
Awesome - seeing that screenshot I have an even better idea.Marketing
Channels have classifications specific to that report you can take
advantage of. Here's more info on
way the data translates directly into the Channel Overview report so you
don't have to mess with anything else (such as your implementation).Russ
Hi Russ, yes exactly. My english isn’t the best, so i didn’t think of
„friendly“ and just translated it from german to english 🙂My Marketing
colleagues shouldn’t see this:The way
pulling CID to eVar and using Classification Importer/Rule Builder
afterwards is perfect. I can classify e.x. _00043_ to SEA and _xyz_ to
special Offer. The End would be „SEA special offer“ and we have friendly
names. Will talk to my colleagues if they will luse SAINT Bernard or Rule
I got help via eMail. For documention purpose i will post the mails as
Replys: Hi Till, is speaking name the same thing as a friendly name? If
so, you can utilize classifications to achieve what you're aiming for.
Commonly people will pull in the raw CID into an eVar, then classify or
group the values into friendly names.Alternatively, Marketing Channels
can do it for you if there's a pattern to them. Have the Marketing
Channel processing rule look for a query string that starts with a
Hi guys,i try to get CIDs into speaking names for Marketing Channels. My
idea is using Processing Rules or DTM to get CID and write a speaking
name into a eVar. We have 30+ different CIDs counting up. Any other idea
or comment on this?Kind regardsTill
