Re: Error in workflow status - Adobe Experience Manager 24-01-2017
Well, I don't know. It sounds like the newly moved to location is now what is stored in the cache, since when you look at the status for the new asset location it is indicating that it's in a running workflow.I would try modifying the payload of the workflow yourself immediately before or after moving the asset, it seems like there is a race condition here.use "workflowSession.updateWorkflowData()"

Re: Error in workflow status - Adobe Experience Manager 23-01-2017
Are you moving random files or the payload of the workflow? Are you modifying the payload of the worklfow as part of your custom step? There is a listener that can be configured to automatically adjust the payload of a running workflow when the payload for that workflow is truly moved. Are you moving or copying the payload? Also - this is an in memory cache of running worklfows and their payloads... if you restart your system the status will disappear.

Re: How to make workflow sleep - Adobe Experience Manager 09-12-2016
Hello -As Jorg mentioned it is bad practice to have any Thread.sleep() calls in your workflow processes - this will cause workflow threads to be stalled, and if many of these thread.sleep() calls occur simultaneously you could be effectively stopping workflow processing completely. The correct approach here is to use an ExternalProcessStep [0] to wait until the correct time to execute your process step. You can either execute your code in the execute method if you do not need to wait (return null...

Re: how to create the WorkItemFilter object - Adobe Experience Manager 27-04-2016
Hi - I am a bit confused, if you know the workflow you are interested in, it has a payload, and that payload points to the asset in question. What information are you hoping to query for?The WorkitemFilter is a bit decieving, there is no implementation provided you must implement your own class and pass it in. This filter does not alter the query that is performed, it is used to post process the results of the query. In your case it won't be any more performant than not providing the filter and ...

Re: How to find participants assigned to participant step in previous process step. - Adobe Experience Manager 22-04-2016
Hi,You will need to lookup the workflow history to find the previous workitem. the getWorkItems() api you are using only returns active workitems for the workflow instance. To load history you must call the following:worklfowSession.getHistory(item.getWorkflow()) Hope this helps,Will

Re: Work flow dropdown in Launcher dialog - Adobe Experience Manager 24-02-2016
Hi -If you go to http://localhost:4502/system/console/servletresolver and put in your URL you will see that it comes from a servlet com.adobe.granite.workflow.console.servlet.WorkflowListServlet so it would not be easy to extend this with a JSP.You might be able to define a jsp or servlet with a resource type of "cq/workflow/components/workflows" and return some json. What are you trying to accomplish? Will

Re: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError in OSGi even when dependencies are added in POM CQ5 - Adobe Experience Manager 08-12-2015
Hi,What you need to do is properly embed the required jars in your bundle. You must keep in mind that it will not only be the jars you directly depend on, but also that jar's transitive dependencies.in your pom you will need to embed like this in the configuration instructions for the maven-bundle-plugin:granite,workflow*;scope=compile *;scope=compile trueI use the scope=compile trick so that all of the compile scoped dependencies are included. If the dependencies you are including are large and...
