Re: Can I create notes at Adobe Analytics ? Like Google Analytics ? David_Goodes - Adobe Analytics
Hi - you're welcome! The calendar entries you make will automatically show in trended / over time reports. Assuming you have access to the tool, I recommend exploring a few events and then looking at the reports to see how it behaves. You can also control who can see them by sharing with other users too

This sounds like the 'Calendar Events' feature - found under the 'Components' menu in Adobe Analytics

Re: Allow selection of days beyond 365 David_Goodes - Adobe Analytics
Thanks for the replies Tanmay. We can see that changing the first day of the week would resolve this - however our organisation isn't 100% aligned around this. So we need the ability to either offset by defining "week minus 53 weeks minus 3 days" or have a selection beyond 365 days, to cater to multiple starts in a week.

Re: Allow selection of days beyond 365 David_Goodes - Adobe Analytics
Thanks Tanmay - we can see the week minus 53 weeks option. That only works when your date range is to align with the default week set up in Adobe. Our scenario requires that we compare two weeks that do not align with the standard calendar week (i.e. week minus 53 weeks, minus 3 days).Key to this question is establishing a different reporting week to the default - as financial reporting is not 100% aligned to the same reporting week across our organisation.

Allow selection of days beyond 365 David_Goodes - Adobe Analytics
We do have a challenging question that requires an update to the UI - the team are looking to build a time comparison (last week vs. 52 weeks ago), but need it to encompass a different reporting week than our default in Adobe Analytics.Ideally they could use logic such as the screenshot below – but it just needs to go one week further! They need to be able to select beyond 365 days to get the same week last year.A practical example would be (see screenshot also):Last week: 30th May 2016 - 6th Ma...

Re: Compare dates in dashboard with both start dates being fixed David_Goodes - Adobe Analytics
Hi - have you looked at Analysis Workspace for this? There you can create a number of date ranges and save them for exampleStart date: Start of this week minus 53 weeksEnd date is: End of this week minus 53 weeksThey have some prebuilt ones such as 'last' week and 'two weeks ago' too, to get you started.

Re: "Throw away" segments David_Goodes - Adobe Analytics
I noticed this yesterday - wasn't sure if it was always there and hadn't noticed. It is a great product development, thanks for the followup.

Re: Two different domains tracked in same report suite. Differentiate? David_Goodes - Adobe Analytics
Hi Alex - we have plenty of domains reporting into the same report suite. Typically the 'server' dimension would differentiate between the two - are you finding that this is somehow being recorded incorrectly? You could check by looking at what s.server is when the analytics fires on the page.

"Throw away" segments David_Goodes - Adobe Analytics
Hi,One aspect of Ad Hoc that I realy enjoy is the ability to tweak segments without leaving your workspace - and without being required to permanently save them. I call these my 'throw away' segments, when I am simply mining the data for insights / troubleshooting things. It would be great to see something similar in Analysis Workspace - it is very cumbersome to leave your workspace to make minor tweaks to your segment.

Re: Mobile Browsers should not be classified as "None" in Browsers Report David_Goodes - Adobe Analytics
Couldn't agree more - in developing mobile sites that were functioning correctly for iOS / Android standard browsers, non-standard browsers (Firefox, Opera Mobile, Skyfire, Boat) had critical bugs. Without specific numbers we do not know which to focus on, and cannot justify the effort to fix.
