Thanks for the reply Steve. But my question was why is it behaving differently suddenly since I have not made any changes and did the same kind of setup like I did before (when it was showing error.log). I have never seen this behavior before for any AEM 6.1 installations. Thoughts??

Hi All,When I installed AEM 6.1 SP1 I see that AEM 6.1 comes with some default users/groups like below screenshot. Can we delete them(except the admin ones)? Do we need them for any other logins?

java - jar cq-publish-p4504.jar does work but we need to setup AEM 6.1 publishers for production, hence we are trying production ready mode as "java -jar cq-publish-p8081.jar -r publish,nosamplecontent". I checked all logs and don't see any errors reporting.

I tired that and if I dont give publish then the instance loads in author mode.
