Re: Formating time input fields - Adobe LiveCycle 24-02-2012
M1T = ((TOut - TIn - 1800000) / (60 * 60 * 1000))And I get TIn and TOut by: Time2Num(W1TS, "HH:MM")W1TS has its patterns defined as you mentioned in your 1st reply. I'm subtracting 30 minutes as a lunch period.John RojowskiDFAS/IND DJMS-AC SITPhone: 317-212-7470"Simplify."

Re: Formating time input fields - Adobe LiveCycle 24-02-2012
All well and good ....... BUT ....... when I get into my time calcs, things aren't quite right. By setting the Patterns as you suggest, when I calculate daily hours, the minutes are getting dropped off the time fields. IE: 07:00 AM becomes just 07. I've changed the patterns in my result field, changed the parameter "HH:MM" to "HHMM" and a few other things - and no success. Is it just an Adobe thing ??John RojowskiDFAS/IND DJMS-AC SITPhone: 317-212-7470"Simplify."

Formating time input fields - Adobe LiveCycle 23-02-2012
I'm using the {short.time} format (HH:MM) as input fields on a form. 99% of the people understand that they need to use the : - it's the last 1% that brings me here. How do I go about either forcing them to use the HH:MM format or making my form accept their HHMM input ?? If they use the HHMM format, my time calcs don't work properly. THX ..........

Increment dates - Adobe LiveCycle 09-02-2012
Working on a form that's sort of a timesheet. How would I fill in other fields based on an initial date ?? IE: Field-A, a date/time field gets filled in. I'd then like to automatically fill in another 13 fields for the time period with dates based off Field-A. In advance - many thanks.

Re: Expanding text field & page numbers - Adobe LiveCycle 08-04-2011
Paul, I don't see the red line you're talking about. All my master Page shows is the blue outline. I did put the page counter on the master, but now I get a blank page at the before the guts of the form.John RojowskiDFAS/IND DJMS-AC SITPhone: 317-212-7470"Simplify."

Expanding text field & page numbers - Adobe LiveCycle 07-04-2011
Got a form with an expanding text field. Also have page # of # on the form. When the text field expands to multiple pages, it overlays (?) the page # of #.Any idea on how I can not have the text field expand to cover it up ??

Re: Comment / Markup not available ?? - Adobe LiveCycle 19-01-2011
Isn't it / Shouldn't it simply be a security or permission setting somewhere ?? Other documents I've created have never caused this problem - and I started this one the same way - from square 1. I appreciate the suggestion and advice and all, but it just seems like it should be something simple and/or obvious somewhere.

Comment / Markup not available ?? - Adobe LiveCycle 18-01-2011
I've created a document with Live Cycle. When I open it in Reader, I can't use the Comment/Markup feature to attach a document to the form. Is it something to do with expanding text fields ?? ARGH !!
