I agree that the current workflows between the Admin interface and the
Reporting Interface can be kind of a pain. One hint that you may or may
not be aware of, if you click the icon in the top left of the screen it
will load up a dropdown that allows you to click "Reports & Analytics".
This will send you back to your default reporting landing page. Not the
best, but much better than having to click the back button 5 times.
It doesn't fix the core issue, but one useful tidbit of knowledge that
sometimes people don't know is that you can classify the "None" item. So
if you don't want to see the None in a classification report you can
change it to whatever you want by uploading a row in SAINT. I believe
this is documented in the Help section somewhere. Doesn't address the
issue of the non-classified reports though.
I think it would be very helpful to have a Key Segments report. It would
be just like the Key Metrics report, but instead of selecting multiple
metrics and having them trended against each other, you would instead
select multiple segments and see them trended against each other. There
isn't currently a way to pull multiple segments into a single report and
compare them. Trended reports work great for comparing variable values,
but many customer segments aren't defined exclusively by one variable...
