ES2 to ES4 Upgrade - Configuration Manager not asking to upgrade previous? Everything looks to be in order. - Adobe LiveCycle 24-04-2015
Hi All,After installing Java 6_31, Office 2010, Acrobat XI, and setting up the environment according to check list, no dice.I ran the installer according to page 7 in UPGRADING TO ADOBE LIVECYCLE ES4 FOR JBOSS.pdf and on page 8, step 4, it doesn't give me the right screen.I am currently running a very functional ES2 server in maintenance mode. 64-bit, Windows 2008 R2, JBoss, with SQL Server 2008 R2.What might cause it to not see the existing server? Thanks,BroMatt

Hi all, I've recently upgraded a development environment (after many tries) from ES2 SP2 to ES4. My environment is:Windows 2008 R2SQL Server 2008 R2JBoss 5.1.0I'm getting 3 errors in the log that I've been googling for days, but cannot resolve. They are probably related.Error 1:2013-05-23 11:16:48,144 ERROR [org.apache.catalina.core.ContainerBase.[jboss.web].[localhost].[/lc]] (FelixStartLevel) ERROR: Error starting jcrinstall:/libs/formsmanager/install/adobe-formsmanager-core-1.0.14.jar (org.os...

After (finally) successfully upgrading from ES2 to ES4 (out-of-place), I'm having trouble with SSO (Single-Sign-On). I checked the settings for my domain and everything looks the same as it did on the old box.I'm getting the following messages in server.logWhen trying to open a protected file.2013-05-14 13:12:34,713 WARN [com.adobe.edc.server.platform.UMHelper] (http-0.0.0.0-8443-2) Thread: http-0.0.0.0-8443-2, hashcode: 566840686 AssertionId is not set. Re: How do I upgrade from ES2 to ES4? - Adobe LiveCycle 14-05-2013
Seems that I messed up my mssql-ds.xml file. I goofed then DefaultDS section with a typo. This led to a JDBC driver update. Foundationally, everything looks good now. I'm going to re-deploy.Thanks

I'll be running: Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard 64-bitSQL Server 2008 R2Java 6u31 64bitJboss-5.1.0.GAThe old server is disconnected. I'm fairly certain that it was running fine before deploying. I will un-deploy and see what happens. Thanks!
