How is the launch hosted is it akamai adapter you are using? If so, do you see the assets.adobedtm.com network requests firing in your developer tools? Also, in the web console in the dev tools, try _satellite.setDebug(true); Once done, you refresh the page, and it should list off everything launch is doing in the console, each rule, initializing extensions etc. I'm wondering if you are seeing any of that and if the launch urls are loading. Here's a pretty good blog that walks through it a littl...

Hi Juhaan,The mapping works via your implementation. You need to set the 'setCustomerId' parameter to the encrypted id that you are uploading in your implementation, that way it will map the ECID or MID parameter to the encrypted client Id that you mention. Customer IDs and Authentication States There is a limited backfill method that can be setup where analytics will export the evar value (if you have it already) and the subsequent visitor id's to the customer attribute system. If you want to s...

Hi Kildipj,I'm not sure I understand where you are in the process. To get access to the Triggers UI, in Admin Console, under an Analytics product profile there's a settings, that you need to click on for the profile itself, it should have a services tab on the left. Then from there, you should see a Triggers Service, you need to enable that. Then make sure you are a user of this profile with the service enabled. From there you can try logging in again and click on Launch from the Solution select...

Hi Jacob,If you look on that doc, the JWT should be very short lived. See the Exp recommendation: Required. The expiration parameter is a required parameter measuring the absolute time since 01/01/1970 GMT. You must ensure that the expiration time is later than the time of issue. After this time, the JWT is no longer valid. Recommendation: Have a very short lived token (a few minutes) - such that it expires soon after it has been exchanged for an IMS access token. Every time a new access token i...

Hi Robert,To reference a data element you need to wrap it in % symbols, so in your example you would put in %Distributor Portal Account Name%.Check out this Doc, it should auto populate from the list of data elements that are in the system: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/dtm/using/resources/data-elements.html I hope that helps,Seth

Hi Robert,Yep, that's exactly what you would want to do. You could to it in the extension as a global variable, aka choose two evar and set them to the data elements grabbing the values. Or do it form within the rule itself. (Rule is more localized if you don't want it on everything including links etc.)Then you need to enable the evars and name them appropriately in the Analytics Admin Console for the report suite you're sending the data to.Then they will start showing up.Thanks,Seth

Hi Robert W. It really depends, capturing in DTM doesn't really do you any good unless you pass that into a tool that can capture and report on the values like Adobe Analytics to Google Analytics etc. If you are setting like an Adobe Analytics eVar to these data elements then yes you could run Adobe Analytics reports on the values. But unless they are being recorded in some tool somewhere you won't be able to see anything. I hope that helps,Seth

Hi Manik,There's an expiration option for an evar to expire on an event. You could set a specific event on that page which would expire the evar. The downside to that is, if they don't see that page, then the evar will keep persisting. Just something to consider. I hope that helps,Seth

Hi Kasper,The short answer is you would need to have a full license to Audience Manager. The ACS to AAM integration takes a lot of setup to get it working properly. I know that doesn't really solve your use case but I hope that at least answers the question. Thanks,Seth

Hi Kaspera,To check the segment population have you gone to Audience Library and seen data there? I would suggest you make a ticket with Customer Care, we really need to validate that the campaign to experience cloud integration is setup properly and we'll need information like org ID etc. Thanks,Seth

Hi davidw50065164,Good points, the oauth integration uses the users permissions that you authenticate with. So, when you hit the oauth it will prompt you to follow the login workflow. You will need to make sure that your user that you logged in with is a user in that profile that you showed in the screenshot that has all the permissions. Adding the integrations is specifically for service token/jwt integrations. Because they behave as their own user, you need to give them access to a profile for...

Hi Davidw50065164,My initial suggestion would be that your adobe.io integration doesn't have proper permissions or is a part of a product profile in Admin Console that has the proper permissions. In Admin Console if you are a product admin or system admin. In an Analytics product profile, you need to make sure permissions have web services things as well as any report suites and things you need to access. Then in the integrations tab in that profile you need to make sure your adobe.io integratio...

In Workspace you can add in some free text as a visualization or panel type. Which can help explain what's going on. Same with Dashboards. Regular reports do have a note section at the bottom. I believe you need to be an admin to add notes though to regular reports. I hope that helps,Seth

Hi Adilk,There really isn't a right or wrong way to do this. Personally I would have a unique rule per direct call event. Mostly for organization purposes to make sure that when this event happens i can quickly see exactly what launch will do. But, you can combine in a single rule, but it just gets more complicated. There isn't necessarily a right or wrong answer just whichever way you would prefer to do it.

Re: Success Events Reporting

Hi surabhis88595869, It's a good question and the answer depends on where you are looking at the pages with the events. If you are in reports & analytics and just looking at the pages report. Any events pulled into that report are linearly allocated to pages. Meaning if you have 1 order, it is divided amongst all the pages seen in the visit (so would be small fractions). If you are in workspace and pull in the pages dimension then it is a last allocation to page which would be the page it fired ...

Hi Karolina,It's a good question, the short answer is no we don't exclude them. We do increment the visit number though. Meaning if the visitor ID XYZ123 comes to the site and makes 150 hits in ~90 seconds. The first 100 hits we will treat it as visit_number 1 then the next 50 hits will be set to visit_number 2. Meaning we'll still collect and report on all 150 hits, it will just be broken into 2 visits. But, none of them would be excluded. (assuming they aren't on the bot list etc.)I hope that ...

My initial guess would be that there are hits coming in that are page events. You should use the metric occurrences to look at all hits. It would be a sum of page views and page events (which are link calls s.tl() calls like a custom link or exit link etc. ) I hope that helps,Seth

@dexterl58973421 The use DTM embed code is a visibility toggle. Once it's linked as you did when you created the environment. Launch will publish to that embed code as well as its own. The toggle just shows you what the dtm embed code was so you could use it again if you wish. This is a common question and we are looking at revisiting the ui to clear this up. Hello,It would be difficult to do, but not impossible. You would need to construct the visit, a query to say something like concat post_visid_high/low then visit_num and order by the visit_page_num. The visit_page_num is the order of the hits. You could then query the variable and see how it changes via the visit_page_num values which would be the path or flow. I hope that helps,Seth

Hi Leen,Normally there's a metric called 'activity impressions' in Analytics that is populated via target and their impression data (in the A4T use case). I presume you looked there. If that is 0 or isn't populated. Then Target itself isn't capturing impressions. I'm not sure how well things like target work in the scope of inside an email, and what email clients allow to be executed inside of them. I'm not sure if any of this helps though. Thanks,Seth

Hi k61152442,If you recently deployed the Experience Cloud ID service, then that service sets an amcv_(org id) cookie instead. In that cookie if there was an s_vi value it translates that to an aid paramater (analytics ID) but the main parameter used by the service is the mid parameter which is the Marketing cloud ID. This identification replaces the old analytics s_vi identifier in Analytics. I've seen people use D=mid before but I'm not 100% sure if that works all the time to capture the mid v...

Hi kostjohn87,A segment is not meant to be a limitless list of conditions. For example in your case the best use case would be to setup classifications on that variable. Setup a column of like Auth GUID type or whatever. Then just do a vlookup in excel with your list of ID's. If the guid meets your list set the type to be X. Then build a segment based on the Auth Guid type = X. This makes the segment much simpler, and frankly easier to manage with classifications bulk export/import capabilities....
