I'm having a strange issue with external authentication and PHP. I've got the PHP code set up correctly (I believe) and I pass the authentication token to the Flex application via flashvars and when the application loads the roster pod shows everyone logged into the room including the user just added. But I can't interact with any other components like the whiteboard and the simplechat.Has anyone ever seen that? Any idea what might be going on? The AuthenticationSuccess event seems to fire corre...

I've got a CollectionNode with data that I'd like to somehow turn into a collaborative file that can be downloaded with the FileManager classes. Essentially I'd like to be sure that changes to the core CollectionNode are automatically updated and represented in the file.Is there any way to make a specific CollectionNode the source of a FileManager? How are FileManagers represented on the server?=Ryanryan@adobe.com

When I connect to an existing CollectionNode the first thing it looks like it does is grabs all of the items on that node, so the ITEM_RECEIVE event fires and calls my callback function. Is there any way to see whether that event came on the initial connection/syncronize event versus coming from something that happened after I connected? Is an isSynchronized flag the best way to handle that?=Ryanryan@adobe.com

I'm trying to use the SharedObject part of AFCS and running into some issues. I've created a SharedObject based on a property in the application. When the property changes I set the SharedObject to the new value. My goal is to be able to compare values with everyone on the system so I've set up a bunch of event handlers to see when properties are added or changed so I can see if any of them match my value. But when I debug the application in Flash Builder the added/changed properties don't ever ...

Hey Kevin,Not sure I understand exactly what the question is. What are you trying to do with the PHP endpoint? Are you trying to expose chat content to both a PHP based app as well as a Flex based application? You might have figured it out at this point, but I thought I'd check.=Ryanryan@adobe.com

Is this the first time you log into the room? Have you checked the permission levels in the room with the developer console?=Ryanryan@adobe.com

I'm working with the File example and I'm getting thefollowing error:Error: MessageManager.createNode : insufficient permissionsto create nodeI'm creating the node on a SYNCHRONIZATION_CHANGE event asfollows:I've got the room set up so that guests are automaticallypromoted. Does that not work as far as Node-creating permission?
