Re: How do I insert the users email address in the watermark? - Adobe LiveCycle 07-07-2013
Thanks Steve and Jonathan. I've stuck with the User Name plus Current Date. Hopefully email address will become available in the future (haven't checked out ES4's options yet).

Re: Does the SharePoint connector support SharePoint 2010? - Adobe LiveCycle 07-07-2013
Hey N Santosh,is there a more firm timeline for SP2013 support in ES4 now? We're also on ES2 and SP2010 (without integration), looking to upgrade to ES4 and SP2013 (with integration) in the next couple of months and it would be handy to know if we're going to be able to do the integration from the start or if it's something we'll have to come back to later.ThanksCraig

How do I get certificate authentication working across multiple domains? - Adobe LiveCycle 10-05-2010
Hi,I've got LC ES2 set up for certificate authentication and when there's only one domain (with a single certificate mapping set up), it works fine. However would like to have multiple domains (application specific), with a small set of administrator type users who manage all of the domains. To test, I've set up two domains, with the admin users in one and the normal users in the other.I've set up two certificate mapping rules (both for the same CA), one for each domain. However LC will only authen...

Re: CRL download problem - Adobe LiveCycle 09-05-2010
Hi Jaroslav,OK, we've managed to sort it in our environment. The main issue turned out to be that we had spaces in the name (CN) of the CA, which in turn put spaces in the path/URL for the CRL.It looks like the CRL validation in LiveCyle doesn't properly escape the spaces (as %20) and so it is unable to download the CRL.Depending on your environment, you may also need to check that the LiveCycle server can connect to the location of the CRL via HTTP.We've got a firewall in the way which caused a ...

How do I insert the users email address in the watermark? - Adobe LiveCycle 09-05-2010
Hi Guys, various bits of documentation refer to being able to put a users email address into the watermark as part of a policy. However the only options appear to be:User NameUser IDPolicy NameCurrent Date andCustom TextIs there a special variable that I can use in the Custom Text?I could use the email address as the UserID, but this isn't ideal...I'm trying not to have to use the WorkBench or any custom code (it's really not my area).Soon'ishCraig

Re: CRL download problem - Adobe LiveCycle 21-04-2010
Hey Jaroslav, did you ever resolve this? I'm now seeing the same thing, though with HTTP!At first I thought it was my aging WinNT4.0 CA that was the issue, but now it's started happening to my Win2003R2 CA as well.ThanksCraig

Development options for LiveCycle (or LiveCycle like functionality)? - Adobe LiveCycle 16-06-2009
Hi,I'm quite keen to get various bits LiveCycle to extend a web application. I'm particularly keen on on-the-fly PDF watermarking, rights management, auditing and certificate based authentication. The problem is, we're a Microsoft shop, which doesn't preclude us from using Adobe solutions, but I'm very hesitant at putting in something that requires all new J2EE infrastructure (JBoss for example), as we have no experience in maintaining, let alone developing for.Can someone advise me what my optio...
