Good morning all: I have designed an interactive form that works well, and has extended features so that the user can save the form. When the form is submitted, the data comes back in as xml, and I need it to come back as a PDF. I'm using LIveCycle ES 8.2.1. In previous versions of teh form where we did not use the dynamic tables, the data came back in a .csv format I could then upload into Excel. How do I do that with a dynamic form? Thanks in advance!

When I insert a page above the page with the repeating row table, this is the error: Error: accessor 'this.parent.parent.instanceManager.addInstance()' is unknown.

Good afternoon, I have a form with three pages. the first page is tex, the second page is a repeating subform (table), and the third page is calculated fields based on the repeating rows in teh table on page two. I need to add several pages of text between page #1 and page #2. When I insert a new page, the repeating rows no longer work. If I remove the inserted page, the repeating rows work just fine. I've also tried creating a new for with the correct number of pages and the added the repeating...

Good morning all; I have a subform with repeating rows. Robert was kind enough to give me the code for calculating subtotals. When I adapted the code for my form, I have an issue. The first line does fine, and the calculations total as they should. When I click the button to add the second row, the calculated box clears. This is the adapted code: var decTotal = 0;for i = 0 upto Table1._Row1.count - 1 step 1 do var strCash = xfa.resolveNode(Concat("Table1.Row1[", i, "].FundList")).rawValue if (st...

Hello Robert,I'm not having any luck. I thought perhaps a form with similar dynamics would convey what I'm trying to do better.I can get the fruit total, but not the apple total or the apple + oranges total. Is there any chance you could take a look to see what code would fit those two slots? Thanks,Jan

Robert, Thank you. I'm new to this and am still having trouble with syntax. The latest code kicks up this: Error: An attempt was made to reference property 'count' of a non-object in SOM expression xfa.resolveNode("Main.Table1._Row1").count.

Robert, Thanks for your assistance with this! The code below is kicking up an error for ( on line 2. I thought it might be missing one, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Also, what language is this? FormCalc or Java? Thanks again!var intTotal = 0for (i = 0 upto xfa.resolveNode("Reference_Syntax.Table1._Row1").count step 1 do if (xfa.resolveNode(Concat("Reference_Syntax.Table1.Row1[", i, "]ddl")) eq 1) then intTotal = intTotal + xfa.resolveNode("Reference_Syntax.Table1.Row1[" + i + "].Cell9")....

Thank you for sending this. I've tried installing it, and I'm getting an error in the script check. The error reads: Expected: ;, Line:3Also, I'm assuming this is Java and that the quotations are where I shoudl insert the path, and they are not part of teh script . Correct?

OK, I changed the [*] to go after Row1 in both sections. Now it isIf(Table1.Row1[*].ddl == "1" )then Sum(Table1.Row1[*].Cell9])else $ = 0endifIt still only works on the first line of the repeating table. How do I get it to work on the subsequent rows?

This code pulls out the value perfectly on the first row, but does not work on the repeating rows. What am I missing? If(Table1.Row1.ddl[*] == "1" )then Sum(Table1.Row1.Cell9[*])else $ = 0endif

I may not have asked the question correctly. I have a drop down list with 6 items. The user fills in the quantity and rate after selecting the item. I can create a row value and a grand total value. What I need to do is display the group total for each drop down item ina separate box. I cannot figure out how to reference the dropdown item. The menu list is tied to Cell3. I get this far, and then I am stumped. Sum(Table1.Row1.Cell3[*].Cell9[*])

Afternoon all: I have a dynamic form with an expanding table format. There are nine columns and one of them has a drop down list of six items, the last column is a value. I need to subtotal the six dropdown menu items separately- preferably in FormCalc. The grand Total works just fine. It seems like it should be easy enough, but I'm stumped. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
