Hey Chris - Segment creation via API is fully supported. You can access
the public docs for using the API
Segmentation can happen at multiple levels within the Marketing Cloud,
and this affects how quickly that segmentation event can be used for
targeting. To learn more about how each solution uses audiences, check
out our Audiences documentation.Audiences can be either real-time or
historical in nature. Audiences shared from Analytics are of the
historical variety and require some processing time. Every 12 hours,
Analytics sends updated membership for its shared audiences to the
Marketing Cloud. The...
This is an excellent question! We've laid the groundwork to enable
Customer Attributes in Audience Manager, and we're actively working on
solving the remaining technical challenges, but so far Audience Manager
does not yet support them. There are two primary ways to onboard CRM data
into AAM – natural matching and onboarding with a 3rd party match
provider. The best solution is dependent on the number of authenticated
users you see, but we often have many customers use both methods.
Thanks for your question!AEM Managed Services for 6.1 includes
experience targeting functionality powered by Adobe Target. This
includes shared audiences within the Marketing Cloud (and consequently

you are not using AEM Managed Services an Adobe Target license is
required to take advantage of this capability.Does that help?

Audiences Library so I can use it to build my Target activity. However,
the data are under collection process (up to 48h as far as I
remember). So simply after that collection period, the Audiences have
build collection of MCIDs. So, when visitor visits the page (page
supports Visitor ID), then my...
Audiences is one of many services reliant on the Marketing Cloud ID
service. That means in order for things to work properly, the ID service
has to be implemented. If you're using Dynamic Tag Management, this
process is as simple as adding the ID service tool. Just make sure your
solution libraries (particularly for Analytics and Target) are up to
date.More info on the ID service tool available here.If you are using
another tag managment system or deploying directly to the page, use the
If you're looking to send Audiences from Audience Manager into
Analytics, make sure you're passing AAM data server-side. This means
your implementation uses the AAM Plugin in AppMeasurement, not the
legacy DIL.More info here.
In order to make sure Audiences works properly, it's a good idea to
ensure your Analytics implementation is sufficiently up to date.
