Bit ashamed of this one. Was simply doing something wrong in the FormsService renderPDFForm operation to merge the form with data. For anyone in the future that is experiencing the same problem, in the FormsService renderPDFForm operation of the process, view All options in the property sheet, and under:PDF Options, check "Generate appearances on server" Render Options, set "Render at Client" to "No"Additional Options, set "Form Model Processing" to "Server Side"Explanation here: http://blogs.ado...

I understand that Signature Service can't Add Invisible Signature Field to a Dynamic XFA PDF, so I'm trying the following:Forms Service's renderPDFForm operation to Merge Form and Data; and thenOutput Service's transformPDF operation to Flatten PDF.However I still get the error: ALC-DSS-300-007 Addition of Signature Fields is not supported for Dynamic XFA PDFsThis seems to indicate that previous steps I took do not in fact transform a Dynamic XFA PDF to Static PDF.Is there are way to transform a...

A after a bit of grunt work I have a better understanding of what is going on, and a solution. I scripted several calls to xfa.host.messageBox(...) on various events. Turns out that the pre-populated fields are not the culprit - they have values as expected. The trouble is with the non-pre-populated fields, and and a subtle behaviour of the event model that causes a problem when using the Workspace UI (at least on ES3). Field values don't seem to be set until a field loses focus (e.g. when a use...

I have a situation where I have a form with several "User Entered - Required" text fields. Some of the required fields are prepopulated by a server process before being presented to a user in Workspace. When the user fills out the remaining required fields and submits the form (by clicking on the "Complete" button in Workspace), the standard "required fields" validation message appears, even though all of the required fields contain data. The form where I discovered this problem is moderately com...

Hi,On a form, In JavaScript, I'm trying to reference the custom properties (manually created by navigating to File > Form Properties > Info > Custom Properties). I don't need to set the properties, just get them. I know how to get the default properties (e.g. Title, Description, Version, etc...), and I can get/set variables that I've created (File > Form Properties > Variables), but the custom properties have stumped me.The closest I've found is the FormData.extras object, which is documented as...
