I updated Flex Builder to use Flash player 10 and everythingworks like a
champ now, so not sure I get you any more info Nigel.Sorry 'bout that.
BTW, switching to f10 in Flex mid-stream, I had to nuke andre-create the
cocomo example projects after updating the Flex SDKto flash 10. Now,
that could've just been me, but if you thinkyou've reset all props but
just get a blank application, ya mighttry creating a new project and
move your code into it.
Cocomo is a new world. You don't directly upload anything tothe server.
By logging in as the host the first time, youautomatically load in the
necessary components to the room from theservice. It's kinda like
pre-built components are instanced for youon-demand.
Hi Hironmay, understood. I am only bringing that up asWebcamSubscriber
and WebcamPublisher don't work, whereas the simpleMultipleGroups example
does. So, maybe a problem in the abstractionlayer for those classes?
I personally would like to see you stick with Flex. As yousay, writing a
layer for non-declarative apps will eat up yourresources that could be
much better spent enhancing and extendingthis very cool project.I do
flash work for flash stuff (animations and prettystuff). I do flex for
applications (albeit, pretty too).
Got the same problem. Weird because I can get the camerausing the
MultipleGroups example, as well as from the settingsdialog. It's a
built-in Chicony USB 2.Don't know if this applies, but the code snippet
in the apidocs for WebcamPublisher uses . It may onlybe
an intellisense thing, but importing com.adobe.rtc.collaborationhas
WebcamSubscriber and WebcamPublisher models, whereas
only shows ScreenShareSubscriber.
I'm confused, I've copied MultipleGroups to a server butcan't get
another computer to connect to a room. Getting 'InvalidInstance'. I have
already logged into the app as host and can login as guest on my dev
machine. Server-side, all I did was create aroom and have tried toggling
auto-promote and guest knock; using
http://connectnow.acrobat.com//.The other computer is
running Flash10, though I'm using Flash9.swc. I'm sure I'm missing
something, just can't tell what.
