As per your setup, one option could be the java component should be written which will fetch the metadata from DB and then fetch the pdf to merge from the drive.   The WebDAV usage I have seen to map the AEM repository, to upload or fetch the data from/to the repo.

Are your pdf files valid according to the PDF specs? You can check by using the pdf utility service.   We do face such issue sometimes with invalid pdf files. What we do is, we create the pdf again, like with PdfCreator tool and then use it. It works in assembler service then. Try this if it helps y...

It's the same as any maven project, you can create a .gitignore file for the purpose. You can create the .gitignore file under each module. eg. I created under ui.apps folder and put the path inside to ignore ui.apps>.gitignore src/main/content/jcr_root/apps/wknd/clientlibs/clientlib-site

I created a field and copied the text from word, even entering the space at the end, but not able to replicate the issue.   Maybe you can share your form on google drive(vkatoch07@gmail.com) with test data. I will have a look. I hope you made the field multiline.

The below reason should be for this case. Your field is small to hold a lot of text. Maybe you can do following: Set its Options for multi-line, increase the width of the text field, or reduce the font size for the text field.

As per the description you mentioned above, the issue is due to global data binding. Correct the binding, it should work.
