Completely agree with the above. This is extremely inconvenient and not a good way to use the tool. In addition to the email notification, this also forces projects that people are no longer on to show up in their projects lists. Having to manually remove from the "people" tab is NOT a good or logic...

I agree with all of the above. It does not make sense that you can tag someone on a card if they do not receive the notification anywhere. This is an incrediblely large gap in functionality and does not make sense that it would differ from the rest of the system's functionality.

Agree - this is a critical piece of information. Would really appreciate this standard to be brought back into the new home. Even more specifically, having "Late" be it's own status when grouping by "Status" - similar to how the legacy home groups tasks.
