You should be able to switch status with the custom filed you are trying to filter on. Just also update the '_Mod=' accordingly.

Hi arappold, You can do this by creating new layout template for the team. Within the "Lists" option you can update the default view you want the team to see. You can also remove the other views/filters/groupings to further restricts the changes they can make.  Best,Surya

I think you might be looking in the wrong place, the name does not show on the left panel those are the fields associated with the template. Create a new project report, go to the filters tab, and add a Template ID filter or Template>Name filter and you should see the names there. See screenshot.
