When adding a new template tasks to an existing project, the date gets set to the start of the project. For some long projects, you could have to click through the months of a few years to select the new dates. A "today" button or advance year button would save a lot of time.
I read through that previously. So you can't say what is critical? In a task list of 20items, 5 might be critical to the timeline while others may not be. Sorry - this doesn't make sense to me. In looking at some projects, random tasks show as being on the Critical Path
This is probably a dumb question so I'll blame it on the December rush. How do I assign a task to a critical path? We have milestones in place, but have never gotten into the critical path. I know how we can view it, but not assign it.
Adam, In the Timeline Planning, all filters/views/groupings are removed. I understand the intention and that it makes the updates faster, but at least the option for "incomplete tasks" would make this feature beneficial on larger projects.
After an admin logs in as another user and selects to log out, the page should go back to the setup, not the home page. Too often, I'm going in to make sure someone's setup is correct and I need to make additional updates, not go back to my general work on my homepage.
