Thank you @Nitin_laad , the configuration was used with pre-populated values and somehow that was causing issue that showed invalid username and password. I re-configured it by typing this time and it worked.

One more Solution that worked for me is, going to your instance author/crx-quickstart/launchpad/config/org/apache/sling/jcr/repoinit.  and delete this folder. Now, Restart your Server. Hope this helps!
