I agree that this would be a big help. I wish Workfront would combine the votes of this suggestion and the one Bernard linked to because combined they eclipse the 450 points threshold.

Hi Whitney, My coworkers and I are experiencing some difficulty booking rooms. We tried to book our rooms today from the link in the confirmation email, but the site said there weren't any rooms available regardless of the date range we chose. Are all the rooms booked already? Jared Mauch

This would be very helpful with removing projects created for request queues from that list since those aren't "real" projects and may never get closed out.

If this isn't planned, then does anyone know if it's possible to build a custom calendar in Workfront to show when users are off?

I agree with all the above. I would also like system admins like myself to have the ability to create smart folders for users. It's odd that I can't create them for my department who all have lower access in Workfront than I do.
