Hi Team, We have custom dialog which will be used in the dialog participant step. Case 1: Saving under data/metaData (helpful in accessing across different steps under same workflow) The fields in this dialog needs to be saved under metaData as we need them in the further steps. So we are storing the field like ./metaData/watchEmails We see that values are not getting saved under metaData(/var/workflow/instances/server0/2021-01-04/new-model_26/data/metaData) Case 2: Saving under history metaData...

The query has been misinterpreted. We have used the component which has file upload field and configured dialog path in dialog participant step. This didn't work - so created custom dialog - Even there field upload field was not working but other fields like text and dropdown was working. i.e. value entered in the dialog for text and dropdown was saving on the node but not for file upload. Adobe has accepted this as product defect and is working on it(reference number : CQ-4307716). Will post th...

Our query is different - we are trying to store data as part of metadata neither under workitem nor under payload. The reason being this data we want to retrieve and use it in later steps of the workflow. So if it is part of Workflow metadata is stored in a MetaDataMap object. The Java API provides the Workflow.getWorkflowData method to return a WorkflowData object that provides the appropriate MetaDataMap object. This WorkflowData MetaDataMap object is available to the OSGi service or ECMA scri...

Hello All, As part of dialog participant step - We have designed custom touch ui dialog which gets triggered when participant tries to complete the step. In the custom dialog - we are capturing inputs from the workflow participant. We need this input data in later steps of the workflow so we are trying to save property like ./metaData/jcr:title and ./metaData/jcr:description by following the below link: https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/experience-manager-64/developing/extending-aem/extendi...

Both AssetReferenceSearch and ReferenceSearch API will provide references from the current page version. We need to visit previous 2-3 versions of the page and check if the asset is referenced or not . Any API on this front.

Hi Team, This use case is for cleaning of the assets from the author which are unreferenced and we want to have the same use case for workflow deactivation of the page Below is the use case:Step 1: Create page A and use image component with image A authored and publish the page A.(NOTE : Image A is newly uploaded asset and is referenced only in page A. Also it is published.)Step 2: go to damadmin and open image A - if we see under the references tab - it will list only one reference i.e. page AS...
