I do not think you can do that. if you want to merge  Adaptive Form data with your existing xdp template you can do one of the two thingsCreate your Adaptive Form and base it on your XDP template(depending on the size of your xdp template this could cause performance issues)Create XSD schema use it ...

How are you exporting the form data?i just tried to export the form data from the pdf in xml format and it worked fine<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>-<form1><Name>John</Name><Address/><City/><State/><ZipCode/><Country/><DropDownList1>1</DropDownList1></form1>
