Re: AAM Rest API Trait delete -> 403 JWT Python snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi @maxmeyer3141 Could you please share the full DELETE URL here?Do you by chance also have access to a client ID / client secret to use the Oauth2 method? I'm curious if this is specific to the JWT tokens. Thanks,Shane

Re: Use AAM with Custom Side Site Tool snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi @yatins78957443 , The 'stuff' object contains all the cookie names (cn) and cookie values (cv | segments) from the segments mapped to cookie destinations within your AAM instance. The segments returned will be the segments the device has qualified to.If you're looking to get traits and segments returned that the device qualified to, you can use the d_cts flag. This is not enabled by default, and you'll need to reach out to your Adobe CSM, consultant, or support to have this enabled. Keep in m...

Re: Is ID Sync required to have profile merge rule in pla... snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi @gauravd85673172, Depends on the type of profile merge rule you're looking to implement. If you are looking to qualify customer IDs alongside device IDs into segments, you'll want to make sure the ID sync is in place to stitch those customer IDs and device IDs together.I would recommend looking into our documentation for the Experience Cloud Identity Service, or also known as the Visitor ID service for our "setCustomerIDs" method.https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/id-service/using/id-serv...

Re: Creating a control group from an AAM Segment snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi Talan, Please look into our documentation for Audience Labs. Using Audience Labs, you can set aside a segment control group while testing the efficiency of the segment and test groups with different destinations.https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/audience-manager/user-guide/features/audience-lab/audience-lab.html Regards,Shane

Re: No Segments information in Profile Viewer Tool snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi @keerthivasanj96, I would suggest opening a support ticket with the AAM team (amsupport@adobe.com). I just tried this as well on my end, and did not get any segments to return. We may need to look into what the visitor visitor API calls are request/returning. Regards,Shane

Re: Pixel-based Data Transfers - Qualification snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi @suhasRakam, Yes, using the DCS API to send a call to AAM with the d_sid= will still realize the device making the call into said trait. If your segments are configured with a profile merge rule that contains device options, and contains the traits in the segment rule, it should only take a second or so to get both trait and segment qualified on the device. Re: Recency setup works by user or instances/occurrences... snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi @MA1985CG, Frequency and recency are calculated on an occurrence basis... meaning every time AAM gets the signals to realize a trait, that will increase the frequency +1. If there is an implementation issue with Analytics sending two hits per load, the frequency would increase per hit (+2 in this case). Recency is calculated per day, and checks if the device has received signals for the trait per day. Each day ends/starts at 0:00 UTC, so please keep this in mind when testing recency. Regards,...

Re: how to Qualify user for the onboarded trait - Immedia... snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
@MA1985v1 interesting.. this should work, and just tested again to confirm... Does it seem to work when using another browser or sending the request via cURL or with another utility, such as Postman? As a side note d_dpid and d_dpuuid are deprecated (still work technically), but I would suggest using d_cid=DatasourceID%01CRMID.

Re: how to Qualify user for the onboarded trait - Immedia... snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
@anhousto1 this is no longer the case. When using the d_sid key with the DCS API, it will qualify the device/profile to the trait, despite it being rule-based or onboarded.

Re: Can we have multiple declared ids with same integrati... snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
@keerthivasanj96, the auth state 0 will kick off an ID sync so the UUID (device profile) is stored in the CRM (cross-device profile) to stitch the device and CRM together. When using auth 0 we'll also read traits from the CRM profile, much like "last auth" and will not write traits back to the profile. These IDs can be used to export out device or CRM IDs from the data source with integration code "hm_id".

Is the device tied to a authenticated profile which contains the segment by chance? If not, I would also try a private / incognito browser, just to verify this device is seen as totally new.

Re: Iphone X user-agent snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi Mike, Absolutely! using the h_ prefix you can target values such as the user-agent. I would recommend viewing our documentation here:https://docs.adobe.com/content/help/en/audience-manager/user-guide/features/traits/trait-device-targeting.html As for the actual user-agent, you should be able to find those values online as they're posted by several provides (device atlas for example) Regards,Shane

Re: how to Qualify user for the onboarded trait - Immedia... snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
Hello, The d_sid=traitID should qualify the device ID to the trait. How are you checking to make sure the device has qualified into the trait? If you're reviewing the trait in the AAM UI, please note that this is updated once daily. I would recommend reviewing your traits in the UI the next day after testing. Regards,Shane

Re: Frequency setup behavior - After clearing Browser coo... snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
If you wanted to same device (browser) to qualify into the segment, you'd have to either adjust the frequency/recency, set up a new segment with different frequency/recency, or clear the demdex cookie. If you were to clear the cookie, AAM would see this as a new device with no traits, but works for testing purposes.

Re: Frequency setup behavior - After clearing Browser coo... snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
Hello, The recency/frequency is stored on the profile with the trait. If your relying just on the non-authenticated ID (AAM UUID), and the cookie is cleared after they close the browser, that device will be seen as a entirely new user the next time they come back. However, if they authenticate on the site, and the trait is on their cross-device ID this will not be wiped even after clearing their demdex cookies. Regards,Shane

Re: Email Pixels for Impression & Clicks snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
Hello, Pixels for emails are usually implemented by putting the img script tag into the body of the email. This pixel will need to contain your AAM subdomain, as well as any key-value pairs you'd like to send into AAM to track the emails. For example the impression could look like this: https://subdomain.demdex.net/event?d_event=imp&c_source=email&c_key1=value1While the click would require a URL encoded redirect key (d_rd): https://subdomain.demdex.net/event?d_event=click&c_source=email&c_key2=va...

Re: Download AAM User List snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
Hello,Currently there is no built in option within the UI. However, this is possible to pull using our REST API. You'll want to send a GET request to https://api.demdex.com/v1/users/ with your bearer token, and this should provide a list of all your AAM users in a format that can be converted to CSV fairly easy. Another alternative is to open a ticket with our support team, and we can pull a CSV from some DB queries. If going this route, please provide any of the following when opening a ticket:...

@seanm97690176, turns out there is an issue with some checks on deleting a model that was tied to folder trait. This should be resolved in a future fix. In the meantime our API team manually removed this model for you.

Re: Help Required - Profile Merge Rule choice snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi Val, I would go with the "last authentication (up to three cross-device data sources) + device profile".When selecting the cross-device data sources, be sure to select the data source where your CRM IDs are onboarded. By using last auth, this will target authenticated profiles in both real-time, and in a batch process every night. The device profile will target all the non-authenticated AAM UUIDs that were seen when visiting your sites.Something to also note, is that a CRM ID needs at least o...

Re: Trouble deleting Algorithmic Model snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
Hey Sean, I was hoping to see more.. but seems the message you provided initially was all there was? {"message: Trait must be RULE-BASED or ONBOARDED", "code":"ILLEGAL_ARGUMENT"}However, your comment did provide the model ID so I checked on this myself and couldn't see what the issue was. I've opened a JIRA with our API team, and will provided an updated comment on what we find out. Thanks,Shane

Re: Can we have multiple declared ids with same integrati... snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
@keerthivasanj96, yes by onboarding multiple Ids to the same data source, it could increase the segment population based on both Ids. By splitting the stored IDs into their own data source, you have more control on the type of IDs you'd want segmented based on your profile merge rules.

Re: Trouble deleting Algorithmic Model snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
Hi Sean, I would recommend looking into your browser debugger (default usually F12), and view the network tab in the debugger when attempting to delete the model. The API call made to delete the model will return with a 500 error I believe, and should contain some more details on what else is linked, or preventing the model from being deleted. Regards,Shane

Re: Can we have multiple declared ids with same integrati... snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
Hello, Both Ids will be stored under the same data source, and linked to the same AAM UUID.I may suggest setting up a new data source with a separate integration code, so you could export these IDs separately in the future, or segment them separately. Keep in mind if you do use two separate data sources, you'll need to include them in a profile merge rule (last authentication or current authentication) if you plan on segmenting the cross-device IDs into a segment. However, there are technically n...

Re: Help required - Onboarded Trait Zero, Segment Populated snielson - Adobe Audience Manager
When you onboard data into AAM, you have to select a target data source this data is for. When data is onboarded to a data source that is marked as "Cross-device", this data will be stored into a cross-device profile on the backend. These profiles are usually authenticated IDs and differ from the device ID (AAM UUID (non-authenticated)). As for segment population, that may vary on the profile merge rule used in that segment.

This should be resolved in a future release.AAM support can run a query to pull these cross-device reports for the time being. Regards,Shane
