I'm looking to create a segment that aligns with the following calculated metric:I've created this Return Visitor calculated metric for the purpose of extracting the number of return visitors who entered my Adobe Target A/B Test.I receive this number by calculating the difference between the New Visit/Visitors and total Unique Visitors in my activity. I am unable to use my calculated metric as my normalizing metric in A4T, therefore I needed to create a segment so that I can apply this segment a...

I'm currently in the process of trying to dedupe the Activity Conversions metric that appears when A4T is selected as the reporting source in Target. The primary reason I'm doing is because I want to capture the 'percentage of visitors in my activity that have clicked or engaged with an element being clicktracked on the page'. Referring back to this documentation: How Do I View the Conversion Rate, Lift, and Confidence Level? | Adobe Target"For A4T, we use a Student’s t-test calculation for cont...

I'd like to know how I can exclude or prevent visitors from entering both experiences in my Target activity. I am currently using Adobe Target as my reporting source, and I'm wondering if there is an OOB functionality to segment those visitors who saw both experiences and exclude them out of my activity.I'm only trying to be proactive because sometimes this issue persists in A4T and I end up needing to create exclusion segments because the total visitors adds up to >100%.

I understand that category affinity is contingent on having a value set to the parameter 'user.categoryId'. I was wondering if it were possible to reference user.categoryId by itself as an mbox parameter in my audience rules, as opposed to using the standalone category affinity algorithm? Suppose user.categoryId is associated with the category of my product, can I build an audience whose categoryId matches a specific value?

Hi Gauresh, thanks for the reply. How can I attach that click event on the paid ad section of Google? I'm not sure if Google allows users to add custom code to their search engine.

Is it possible to utilize the category affinity algorithm across more than one attribute? Currently I have category affinity configured to retrieve the page category name (e.g. - scarves, t-shirts, bedsheets, coats). However, I'd like to know if there is a way that I can be a bit more granular with my categories. In addition to my page category I'd also like the algorithm to consider the product material (e.g. - linen, silk, cotton) as well. In other words, how can I utilize category affinity ac...

I'd like to personalize my website where the hero heading of my homepage will dynamically change if the visitor clicks on one of my paid advertisements on Google. For example, suppose my paid ad contains :"New Cars - Compare Specs, Pricing & MPG", similar to this paid advertisement by ford. If the visitor clicks on my paid advertisement, I'd like to build a personalized experience where the title of the paid ad is used as the heading of my hero banner on my homepage. Would this be feasible? If s...

Hi @ram_adobe, Are HTML offers meant for strictly content/asset changes to existing sections on the page? What would you say is the best practice for storing offers that create or add new sections on the page with JavaScript, given that you can only replace existing elements with Offers on the VEC?

Second activity (that captures visitors who converted in the first AB test activity via mbox) is showing more unique visitors than visitors who previously converted in the first activity.

We are currently running an A/B test (carousel_desktop_add_spd_price) where the objective of this test is to determine if adding short product descriptions with/without a price tag below products featured in the product page carousel will increase the click through rate of the carousel and the percentage of visitors adding to cart (out of the visitors that engaged with the carousel). The experiences are delivered on the product page template. We have Adobe Analytics tags to capture when a visito...

Thank you for the reply @LordOfTheRings. Aside from manually requesting from Adobe to delete these mboxes, do you happen to know any alternatives to deleting them via the API?

While testing my personalization activity, I've created test mboxes and parameters using Adobe.target.trackEvent(). After doing this several times, I want to reduce the clutter (excess mboxes and parameters) that appears in my audience rule settings. How would I go about deleting the mboxes and passed parameters that I no longer require? Also, does there happen to be a limit on the number of mboxes that I can pass?

I want users to be able to experience an activity on the follow conditions:- If this is not their first session on the site- If they have items in their cart To check if they have items in their cart, I've wrote a trackEvent code that will fire once the quantity element is present on the page. function paramQuantityLoop(){ var bagQuantityLooper = setInterval(function(){ if(document.querySelector('.total-quantity') && document.querySelector('.total-quantity').innerText != ""){ adobe.target.trackE...

My A/B Test activity has recently finished it's desired testing duration. I'm using Target Reporting as the reporting source. Before the activity was launched, I added some extra audiences for reporting such as "New Visitors" , "Returning Visitors", and two custom audiences: 'Mobile Visitors', and 'Desktop Visitors'. The issue that I'm currently facing is now I want to see combined visitors who qualified as both ("New Visitor" or "Returning Visitor") AND "Mobile Visitor". Vice versa for "Desktop...

I want to create an A/B test for visitors who click on a specific link that will redirect them to the activity url. Let's assume that visitors who click on a button that reads 'Shop Cars' on the homepage will redirect to a page that displays a listing of cars. I want to create a test where half of the visitors who clicked on my button will instead redirect to a page that contains curated assortment of cars from a specific brand. The issue that currently exists is that visitors have more than one...
