Autonumber field will not stop recalculating - Adobe LiveCycle 29-04-2016
I have an adobe form (Purchase Requisition) that we are trying to use a field (SetReqNo) to calculate a number (Business Account number + Date + Time) to autonumber the form. Problem is the form renumbers every time it reopens. Since it is a calculated field, making it read only will not help.So I tried a work around of having a checkbox (LockPRNum) that gets checked when the form is submitted by email or printed and the calculated field (SetReqNo) checks this checkbox and will only calculate if...

I just tested and link works for me. Also, I just got it working by deleting and retyping the quotes around 'Specify: '. Go figure!

Could someone help me figure out why after saving a form some subforms are hidden again - Adobe LiveCycle 18-12-2012
I am asking this on behalf of a coworker. We have a form she is working on with a drop down (ddlDropDown) with 1, 2, and 3 listed (same values,,1,2,3) That trigger hidden subforms to appear (Employee1, Employee2, Employee3). Initially, Employee1 is visible. If form user selects 2 or 3 in the dropdown then Employee2 and Employee3 become Visible. Once the form is filled in, saved, closed and reopened Employee2 and Employee3 are hidden again even though the dropdown says 2 or 3. The script behind t...

Re: How do I change an objects value type depending on a Y/N Radio button? - Adobe LiveCycle 10-08-2012
Thank you radzmar! Based on your code I determined the issue I did incorrectly is I didn't use the '==' in the if statement and I missed the () brackets at the beginning and end of the logic statement. It has been over 10 years since I took my Java course in school so I am forgetting the little things like this!

Re: Email Submit button - Adobe LiveCycle 30-05-2012
I decided to send the pdf in the email alone and then put a button in the hidden area on the form for the recipient to Export Data to XML file. They can then open in Excel. Is there anyway to stipulate only certain fields/data sent in the XML and the order these fields appear in the XML file?
